prasad-gsma, 18 Aug 2022Raw DNG are 12-bit. The 10-bit files are saved in HEIF. Imx766 is not capable of 12bit since the ADC is only 10bit.
If the phone has 12bit option, is trick like the 16bit from S22 Ultra (within the new cam app) when HM3 is 12bit sensor.

Simple info every review here needs to have.

    Don't know why there is no mention of Iqoo 9T as an alternative in India. It costs less ( after exchanging my poco x3 and other discounts got it at 32000 INR~425€) and has a better camera system with a proper telephoto lens and a much better untrawide with autofocus producing very nice macro shots as well. Also the V1+ chip inside does wonders at night photography. The main sensor is also the same as in Samsung S22 series.

                        GSMArena has been my main source of information for the better part of the last 15 years, so I say this with nothing but respect and appreciation for the effort the people are putting in the site: Something needs to be done with the star scoring system. You see the 4.3 score of OnePlus 10T review (for comparison the S22 Ultra has 4.5) which prepares you for a positive review and then you read the text that is, at best, luke warm. You finish reading the review and you can actually picture the reviewer saying "meh"!

                        And this is happening on several ocassions in the last couple of years. There is a distinct deviation between the overall score and the actual text of reviews. The score system needs to be revamped so that it accurately reflects the opinion of the reviewer. I don't know whether it is a matter of reassigning weights, or completely overhualing it but the current system is borderline misleading in many reviews.

                                      What a disappointing phone.

                                      Even in battery life it scores slightly worse from the Samsung S22+ which has 300mah smaller battery and the inferior Exynos 2200.
