We'll done Google. Nice package. I watched the live release and very impressed with some of the refinements, features, software, inclusivity and direction. ✅

      Pro-i : 87h

Pixel 6 pro has lower resolution screen (40% less pixels)
Pixel 6 pro has larger battery (11% more)
Pixel 6 pro has LTPO screen

      Still has worse endurance.

Lazerr, 12 Oct 2022Super-res zoom is not nearly as effective as using full unb... moredoint simple math, youre very incorrect. the telephoto optical zoom maxes out at 5x so well use that as a starting point
essentially, you can think of zoom as a sqr root grid. 2x divides the image into 4 segments (2x2), 3 divides into 9 segments, etc.
now, using the telephoto at 5x gives you a full 12MP photo.
the full, unbinned main sensor at 5x would only give you a resolution of 2MP since its only using 1/25 if the camera sensor

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2022not clean android and more bloat.Their flagships don't come with bloatware? And stripped down android with less features and usability is better? I mean I'm looking to treat myself to either an Oppo Find X5 pro or mi 11 ultra, got a find X5 now which I love and has been flawless which I got after trading in a pixel 6 pro because of how useless of a phone it was (and I mean just as a phone like calls, if we add in hardware defects and constant software problems it's 2nd worst android device I've ever used).

It's just dumbed down android for idiots who think customisation is stupid or too lazy to set their own phone up tbh. Such boring devices with worse performance and way too many issues like Samsungs S20 series and s22 series...oh and no charger or case in the box 👍

All these android version are quite similar anyway, updates are often pointless unless an actual needs fix. It's a pity that some people will prioritize updates over better specs.
And mi11 ultra isn't "cheap" quality, it was designed to rival s21u. Not all xiaomi are same.
And custom roms are available for mi11 ultra. Sd888 is probably still better than g2. Lol

Nick Tegrataker, 13 Oct 2022"I am not constantly afraid of whether the tiniest det... more"any artifacts in this regard, will be only a problem when the user is able to perceive it"
Definitely not! As I said, the biggest issue is when the user does NOT perceive it. The user doesn't perceive the artifacts and thinks that this is the truth. That's dangerous. Artifacts must be identifiable, otherwise a photo is useless, especially for journalists. And by the way, the artifacts in the YouTube video are not just demosaicing artifacts, these are much bigger artifacts.
It's very disturbing when people don't care whether a photo is fake.

I'll never understand the industry standard goal of constantly pushing peak performance when there isn't anything that truly takes advantage of it. Google actually takes full advantage of their SoC's capabilities to provide unique features which sets them apart from just about every Android phone on the market.
