For example the A16 bionic on Iphone 14pro/max has the Qualcomm's X65 5G modem.

Like it or not, Snapdragon SoC have been the superior chips since Snap810/820 era, but they cost more.
As for the results themselves, do yourself a favor and check Gsmarenas synthetic benchmarks, where Gsmarena calls the results ''underwhelming''.

The author presents 1:1 crops and compares pixel 7 pro with pixel 6 pro (in the same situation), and compares between pixel 7 pro and pixel 7.
It helped me set my expectations...

I'm thinking of doing something really stupid... going the other extreme from iPhone and buying Pixel 7 Pro. But I need to wait for the full review because all the data is pretty much useless in this preliminary review. I need to see that photo with the snail on grass, that's my favorite reference point for camera quality. As well as battery life, though Mrwhostheboss said battery life is very good. But again, I need GSMArena's battery metric.

I feel like these two sentences perfectly summarise what I feel about ML-based demosaicing algorithms - False patterns/details, or any artifacts in this regard, will be only a problem when the user is able to perceive it. For instance, DeepPRIME occasionally produces random wrinkles out of extremely noisy images - this is indeed an issue and can be considered as a downside because it's quite easily observable, the same goes for colourful Quad Bayer worms that make the entire image look very unnatural when you zoom in. Not so much for any "potential" detail distortion introduced in Apple's ProRAW that would still look a lot better than artifacts in a pure Quad Bayer RAW.

Just to let you know, there are phones with "great" or even better cameras than pixels but doesn't have any of the problems, and can cost similar. There will be more of those in future because others just moved to TSMC whereas google sticks with scamsung.
