I have had my S8003 for about a week. Here are the problems:
>new pc suite does not support the phone when you try to use the nps firmware update utility
>new pc suite does not recognize the phone when you open the tool box and backup the phone
>video only records sound in lousy amr
>voice recorder also only records in inaudible amr-virtually useless voice recorder
>battery life is so so for an AMOLED device
>browser is a bit buggy
..I've also read at various sites that owners are having trouble with the widgets..

Hi, i REALLY want this phone but I was just wondering if you can change the language settings to either French or Korean, because before with my sgh-u600, it could only type in english, not e with accents and stuff lol and the titles of my korean songs would show up as boxes -_-;
also, not that i'm a stalker or anything but can u shut off the shutter sound? coz sometimes i just get embarrased when i'm being a poser lol..
I really regret buying the arena over this : (

They can't stand anything that threatens that overrated junk called the iPhone. They'll always blabber on about a "laggy UI" or an "unresponsive screen" or "badly programmed software" or any BS they can come up with. It's in their nature.

SAMSUNG OMNIA, 13 Jul 2009well done samsung.
well i can say that its really fast hec... moredont even think of LG Arena...It sucks.
Its doesnt play regualr divx files of vga
No flash support for browser
many many more
Only thing impressive is its screen and audio quality (bobcat enhancement was impressive)

http://ww... morePlease understand how a CPU works! Omnia i8910 does not have less processing power than the Samsung Jet. What the hell is happening with the world? Is it populated by morons who don't know the ABC of computing or is it something in peoples water? I have even seen reviewers stating the Jet is the most powerfull phone out there. Well it is not! Using Mhz as a direct speed-measurement across different types of CPU's is just very, very dumb :-(

well done samsung.
well i can say that its really fast hectic feedback vibration hmmmmm its cool, slim pls. come up with the white version, but the only thing i don't like its nottttttt aaa windows mobile for g-------d sake ewwwwww... i hated that.... the more fast the more consuming battery charge after charge ewwwww
im still looking for a nice windows mobile i will change my OMNIA coz its has only 65 TFT COLOR DISPLAY crap.... not good......
some body help me witch one is better LG ARENA or samsung omnia HD i8910...

throw around ur opinions all u want, u dun have the phone, u never used he phone... i got this phone n been playin non stop wid it, i got no probs. no lag no hangin just the speaker needs some bass.. maybe the 8000s got recalled dunno. i got the 8003 and it's just kool

And there are other points where the processor seems to have up and left, leaving its wheezing understudy from an old Samsung D600 to take over. When scrolling through the photo list and browsing music by album cover (*cough*Coverflow*cough) the whole thing judders along badly. What is weird is that on other phones using the same(ish) UI, such as the Samsung i8910HD, which has less processing power, they manage the same tasks with much better speed.
