You say they're flashed and sent to the customer, so it's apparent flashing solves the problem. Maybe Phones4u got a faulty batch. Certainly, no review site has mentioned the software to be laggy; rather, they mention the UI to be nippy. On top of that, neither of the video reviews has, to date, demonstrated the slow, laggy, and erratic UI that you mention. I don't know what more can be said.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2009Well, if they've been recalled, why are they up on phone4u'... moreLike i said, ring the shop, theyll tell you they have been recalled. The website doesnt have to give you the phone on the spot, so obviously theyre not gonna take it off there. They will get the phones flashed and then sent to the customer. Here in the physical shops, they have to be recalled, flashed, then redelivered to the stores.

Was it around the time you were writing your comment, or was it an idea you came up with long back, when you were trying to, similarly, put down something you didn't like?

I am getting terrible sound quality while playing music with mine, with lots of crackling and hissing. I am very close to returning the phone now...

Another Copy Cat, 10 Jul 2009Im sure there is a dedicated team trying to copy what LG is... moreevery company is getting the idea from others. do u think LG is not copying? well, look at the arena, looks similar to omnia. the widget is first invented by samsung in phone, then? almost every company is using this concept. LG S-Class? ugly UI, copy the concept from iPhone, samsung, and HTC. shame on you. Is there anything that LG does that is innovative?

im not saying that samsung is not copying, but i always with them

I don't think it's slow, but it's deffinitelly not right. If you try to swipe slowly, the menu starts jittering and spasticating like it doesn't know where your finger is. It's just badly written software, android is smooth, it was made by a proper software company, same goes for palm. Sansungs software is written by imbecils.
