we in the philippines loves cellphones but only the one with high quality... if we compare the expertise and technology its definitely the sony ericsson that will win it over. I personally dislike samsung. They just copied most of their technology in Japan. ericsson being the global power in communications equipment is great and combined with sony is a global power in this category... I say if you go to Japan they have the most High tech but not in one device. They see the photography in a REAL camera not camera phone and they use cellphone as just a way of communication. Overall I'll go for Satio. NEC, TOSHIBA, SHARP AND MITSUBISHI HAVE GREAT PHONES IN JAPAN...

I dont wannato lie but for me video is a bit beter in Satio then one in the Pixon, and even stereo recording in a satio sounds more reality...

Yes samsung has done a great job on producing better image quality(although VERY small margin) but how about on VIDEO recording??D1 on Pixon12 vs. VGA on Satio,Satio wins in terms of quality..You will enjoy your samsung phone only for maybe half year maximum but once its housing gets faded you will regret for buying such an expensive samsung phones..Innov8,original Pixon and other samsung phones' housing gets easily faded..You cannot rely on samsung phones durability..Iphone's 600mhz processor is a lot more faster than samsung jet's 800mhz processor,commercially advertise 28mm lens where in fact its just 30mm lens..N86 has a 28mm wider lens REALLY..

Pixon definitely has won in terms of photo quality from what I can see. NoT bY mUcH though. I really wish they would do another comparison down the road. SE is always releasing firmware/camera driver updates till they get it right after initial release of the handsets........

I'm an SE lover but we gotta be true on this one... and we don't need to read,we just need to watch the photos to realize that Pixon does a great job, a better job indeed in the aspects that really matters to the ocasional photographs...
As a phone, I would choose Satio, with no doubt, but this is a camera shootout and in my opinion Samsung Pixon is the winner... Pixon in the overall has a better CAMERA...

SE was beaten at 8mp test..now here again on 12mp. Next time SE fans brag about their so called "Cybershot" and it's superiority, should shut their big mouth. Those days are gone.

to all you samsung fans out there, i decided to try out the SONY ERICSSON SATIO and it is wayyyyyyyy better than my pixon 12. I was so disappointed in my pixon and i will NEVER buy samsung again. Trust me samsung fans, try the SATIO and you will never regret it. Im going to return the pixon because its a waste of my $775. I paid $999 for the sexy SATIO and it is worth every penny.DO NOT BUY pixon! SONY RULES!

For Real., 22 Oct 2009Real winner: Samsung W880 AMOLED 12M Real winner: Samsung... morei agree wit u 100% everybody seems to forget samsung have a next 12mp camera phone (m8920) the sucessor to the pixon12 and up to now the omnia hd is the only phone tht can compete with the satio n its been out since may n it outshines the sstio in every department except the camera

You guys don't get it, it's not about the phones overall performance. It's about the photos.
