Definitely the worst phone I've ever used at this day and age. I'm more impressed with the Cherry Mobile Android One. Despite it's size, and the amount of apps I installed, it never hangs. But with the Samsung Galaxy J1 however, I've only installed a few apps, but it's performance it's so bad that I can barely use it. I would admit that the camera is good but I can barely use it with the very slow performance. I'm also impressed with the amount of memory I can add to it via microSD, but it's worthless.

Currently i own 3 galaxy j1's. I upgraded from iphone5s.
I havent had a single problem with any of the ones i own.
I wont go so far as saying best phone ever. But definately not tge worst one i have had. It does the job for me.

Worst phone ever!!.... can't download anything.. when I open any app it doesn't work well.. really so slow... plz don't buy this phone

m just curious to know why did Samsung release a piece of garbage undermining its own company. This phone has made me hate Samsung brand. Worse of the worse situation happened when even the call app started crashing in middle of a phone call. This is a phone that has failed to do its primary function of connecting calls. This is indeed a work of crap. Don't even think about purchasing this phone even for a joke.

Sweet load of wild hot fire garbage is what this phone is. Super freaking slow i just cant understand it sometimes i wanna throw and ram this piece of crap on the wall til it explodes in a thousand pieces its so freaking horrible!!! I rather be without a damn phone if thats the case . Its just not good sweet intense garbage dont waste your time!!!!

I'm finding this phone incredibly slow and frustrating. Very slow to access internet. Changes screens of its own accord. Latest issue is it won't send an email. The only thing that works well is making and receiving calls and messages, doing anything else is time consuming and often doesn't work anyway.

ANONYMUS, 24 Jul 2016I bought this phone recently and I tried playing Poké... moreHi, I've tried this on my J1 recently to find that there simply isn't enough RAM to play the app. It won't even get past the loading screen for me.
I'd recommend upgrading. Pokemon Go says it requires 2gb of RAM in order to function, and in my own research a phone with that much costs at least €200. There are some pretty good models for that price though!
