Mr.1, 04 Mar 2016On my J1 i dont get the messages on Viber,WhatsApp,Messenge... moreMaybe I am old school, but I always think this is funny when I hear that people are upset because they don't get a reply to a text. Well it is a phone, so why not ring up and talk. Much easier and quicker to communicate using speech, then trying to type messages back and forward. You can say something and get a immediate reply with speech and then say something else, instead of waiting for a text.
Though I still prefer to talk in person, or next best thing is to video chat.

I read some pretty bad reviews about the j1 and I was kinda nervous about getting one. But it works amazing! The battery lasts a long time, it doesn't freeze, the actual phone works just fine. If you want a nice, affordable smartphone then I would definitely recommend the j1

Myb its me who dont understand this fon,i can see that there is ligths on it but doesnt work.Like when there whatsapp message or other thing there is no notification lights plz help how to get this plz

I'm not happy using y J1 :( Why is it that chat heads in messenger don't appear. And in playing "Piano Tiles" it will suddenly stop and in taking 100 pictures in "Candy Camera" it cannot be also. And while browsing facebook and messenger it will go suddenly go back in the "HOME". What to do? Please help me.

She thinks it a beauty as good as a cold can beer and works as fast a kangaroo crossing Australia.

Okay im not saying that these peoples are telling lies bc my friend has j1 and its so slow, memory sucks,its freezing all the fraking time and it drives her crazy and she regtets for byibg it a lot... she has so many problems. But i also have j1 and it works amazing. Its not slow, doesnt freeze AT ALL and i like how the phone looks. I bought a big space memory card so i dont have nemory problems and im not sure would i have it without memory card. Some people here also said they have the keyboard priblem like it doesnt shows i guess. Honestly when im reading these comments i felt like wooah what do we have the same phobe wtf' so yeah. This is my opinion, so yah.

Problem No2: Some messages doesnt shows me, my friends are mad why I dont text back...

Worst phone EVER made! I honestly think the Nokia 5110 is a MUCH BETTER phone with less problems!! If i had lots of apps on it or something like that i would understand. But just plain normal running it cant even cope with. Biggest piece of rubbish in history!

I really regret buying this phone. I bought it because I was on a budget and I needed a smartphone, and at first I thought it was OK. But if you install 4 or 5 apps on your phone then after about a month it will get super slow. Sometimes you want to type a message and the keyboard doesn't even load for a few minutes! I have had to reset to factory settings multiple times and only have the essential apps that I need but it still slows down after a month or so. DON'T GET THIS PHONE!

Thought samsung products were good not so sure now , various probs but now comes up with note sayimg " Unfortunately , Samsung keyboard has stopped ." Anyone tell me how to fix this?

Why did I not research this phone before purchase. Foolishly assumed Samsung to be reputable as previous Galaxy Ace was excellent...I didn't expect fabulous because it was inexpensive..I am pensioner....but I didn't need fabulous only needed basic.....it is Basic Unsmart Crap Phone.....looks pretty...looks cool....but very UnCool Indeed ...do not buy this phone!!!

Just got it yesterday. Instructions unclear (did ANYBODY proof-read them?). Sim card loading didn`t make sense.

This samsung J1 is not a smartphone, its a trash phone!.. hanging, self operating, display always freeze, random clicks on apps and etc.. etc.. name a phone problem i think this samsung J1 have it..

Not happy with it at all, it keeps freezing all the time, it calls random numbers from my contacts when i havent touched the phone and it keeps kicking me out of apps. I only purchaced it less than 3 months ago!

This is my first smartphone, It looked amazing and felt amazing for the first month, at first it appeared to be really good, With the only drawback being only 4gb of storage, But shortly afterwards the backspace key became sticky and letters kept duplicating themselves. I fixed this and all was good, Now the phones screen itself is freezing and when dragging it will occasionally click random things or stop working completely requiring a restart. Apps will randomly stop working and the sd card wont register occasionally. This phone is essentially now a fancy paperweight, Except its too light to be a paperweight.
2/10 - Not worth buying, Considering using the warrenty and reselling phone.

Best budget phone out there. Nearly hitting one year now and no complaints! I will admit had to take it to service centre once for having problem with the screen being greenish at times and unresponsive at places but those were all gone after screen replaced under warranty. Regarding battery life with both sim running and under very heavy usage I still get left out with little or more juice to finish of the day! Great battery life if used wisely. Apps runs smoothly if other unnecessary apps not running in the background. Camera is decent for the price. This phone is my fav till now have used several phones past over the years almost every brands from expensive to lower end budget phones. J1 is sleek and very slim and believe it or not I keep my Iphone 6 sitting idle on a corner of my house while I use J1 for as my daily phone. If you're willing to get it, get it now it's compact and nice, again use it wisely get the best out of it.
