    The camera back style is odd i feel note 5 was the best note looking

      Just because Samsung didn't use notch you say it is a waste of display area.
      If Samsung will put notch on their phone, you will be bias for sure.

      On screen navigation keys are worst that notch!

                  I got delivered my Note9 yesterday (6Gb Ram/128GB), so I can share few opinions I got since that. Phone is big, but it fit in to my pocket without the problem. I'm big guy (2m) but I need to use both hands, but one hand mode is easy to use, which solved this problem. Screen is fantastic as always with a new Amoled from Samsung. Stereo is noticable, phone is quite loud and sound much better as my S7 edge.
                  I'm new Note owner, so I only explore the posibilities of magic pen, but it's have many handfull functions and blutooth mode is very adictive for selfies or music playback.
                  Battery is great, but as my previous phone was S7 edge with excelent battery, I'm not so impressed. 1 day is no problem even for busy day but 2 or 3 days only with limited usage.
                  Gaming is brilliant on such a big and excellent screen and there is enough power under the hood even with 6gb RAM.
                  Camera is really improved compare to S7 edge, especialy front one.Super Slow motion video is fun, I tested it today with my kids.
                  What I still have problem with, is fingerprint reader. I still don't have a case for it (on the way from ebay), I'm not so confident to hold it naturally and than I must focus on fingerprint reader. Also location is new, it's habit of many years habe it under the screen, so it takes some time to used to it. But fingerprint reader is realy quick and precise.
                  I haven't tested Dex yet, so no comment to this.
                  Also headphones in the package are very decent AKG with nice tune. Some people are complaining about quickcharge, but I'm ok with that. Quickcharge 3.0 or 4.0 really quickly charge the phone, but on the otherside, it also very quickly destroy your battery.
                  I'm not fun of any AI assistant, so Bixby is somerhing I just ignore. But I already pressed that button few times accidently.
                  So my conclusion is: it's masterpiece of todays technology, but I was already very happy with my S7 edge, so there is not such a dramatic change for me. I paid 1000 euro for it which is a lot of money, but I find out, it cost me only around 170 from my pocket, which is not such a bad deal for such a great phone (-200 bonus for preorder bonus to swith for old Note - I bought cheap one on the ebay for +50e ,- 200 VAT - I have my own company, -300 support from O2 on my montly program and I got also -170 for my old S7 edge) so 1000 - 200+50-200-300-170=170) And small bonus was, O2 gives me DUOS version for 2 sim cards, which is very rare from any mobile network company. Hopefully it helps someone who's still hesitate, in case you have some question, try to ask :).

                      Do you know if the dual sim version support VoLTE? the Note8 dual sim doesn't support.

                          Samsung S VOICE was much more useful than Bixby. I find Bixby is worthless!!!!!

                              Always wanted to buy a note. But never bought one because of lack of stereo speakers.
                              Now that it has stereo speakers I'm thinking of buying this. But two factors are stopping me. First, it has quick charge 2.0 which is a old version. Even my LG G5 has quick charge 3.0. I expected this phone to have quick charge 4.0 but instead they give us 2.0 what a ridiculous decision by Samsung. Second, India and rest part of the world (other than USA and china) are not getting snapdragon chipset and adreno GPU. I don't how the exynos chipset and mali GPU performs.
                              So these two factors are stopping me from taking a decision to buy.
                              Can anyone tell if these two factors are good enough to not buy this thing.

                                  Imperator Neubaticus, 25 Aug 2018It virtually does once you put the 512gb micro sd card. He did say ROM. I love the fact 512 gb was set as the highest capacity. Next year or two will be a real 1 terabyte capacity.

                                  512GB card would probably be out at retail stores in 6 months in my locality. I can only imagine the cost of it based on the $150+ price of a 256gb card. I would not be surprised the card would cost $300. Still, I would have wanted a 512gb Galaxy Note - 2 years back.

                                  Now I just don't see the point since I can live with just pre-downloading Spotify and Netflix while I sleep, and they are all saved on the 128 gb microSD card that I still can't seem to fill up. I know, I USED to think I needed 256 gb to store all my media. I have not been bothered to even trying to get a 256gb microSD now. I even have updated playlist on my Gear S3 smartwatch when I need to listen without my Note8 during my workouts.

                                  The thing is, I could get the Note9 very easily when I want to. I can even get the 512 gb right now. I am a fan of the Note series, and I'm not so sure of getting the Note9 the soonest because Note8 is still pretty good.

                                  I can't even fill up my 128 gb iPad even without a card. It's weird for me now. I don't even bother saving my 70 gb with of e-books since I download some of them via my OneDrive when I just need them. Again, I'm surprised that I'm not so stoked about wanting nor needing higher capacity as possible.
