No problem at all and even performance is better than beginning. Try it and you will like it. Just go to XDA developers and look for if only if you have the exynos version

This (NOTE 9)( will be my last Samsung mobile, I used almost all the note series and was happy will all the models TILL THEY RELEASE THE NEXT VERSION. Samsung Screw the previous generation by New OS update when they release the next one and I noticed this every time. My note 9 was working fine till they release note 20 and got 2 updates and the phone is useless now. Heating, battery drains faster, touch not responding properly, etc..

This is the last Samsung phone that i actually like the design of. I was never a fan of removing the home button but i'm even less of a fan of notches, punch holes and giant camera bumps.
I really hope the S21 does away with the punch hole, tho unfortunately the camera bump will probably just keep getting bigger and bigger as they add more cameras

You want to go for a phone that will have better support in the coming years as the note 9 is done with its software life pretty much. All it's going to get is security for probably another year. With the iPhone, they will support it for another 2-3 years for major software and your more likely to find parts easily for it in the longer run

I don't know if it's just me or people have noticed this. I've got the EU version and weird enough. My battery life improved with the arrival of one UI 2.5. Not having any performance issues as well. If your trying to game on it and complaining about major battery drain and performance drop compared to before, let's remember we are on a 2 year old CPU and GPU. So it holds up pretty well for it's age.

Pretty surprised to see a lot of people mentioning issues with the device after the updates. I have the EU Exynos version, updated to 2.5 and have zero issues, no issues with battery, OS or screen. Maybe I just got really lucky but just stopping by to say that not everyone is having a bad time.

Running my Note9 with stock Android 8.1.0 until now. Turned off system updates. Having no problems whatsoever :)
If you keep your phone with finalized and tested stock android, you wouldn't have any issues. Battery life is still amazing, even if I have to update playstore apps up until I'm forced to for it to function.
You may have noticed that system updates are more visually pleasing and Samsung tries to provide small incentives and also retract some previous features as well. Its always a back and forth. As for safety and security updates, if you know where your browsing or downloading stuff, you are the security of your phone.

Cakcak, 16 Nov 2020Which is the best iphone x or galaxy note 9 in 2020-2021 ?So my note 9 has got the new update OneUI 2.5 with wireless dex, pro video features etc. It has aged very well and is better for me as I work in a lab with ppe all day, I can use the iris scanner with it. I also use the iphone XR at the same time, i can not use face id!. The note 9 also has the advantage of usb c so i can use it on our monitors which will charge the note 9 and let me use dex on the monitor at the same time.

Cakcak, 16 Nov 2020Which is the best iphone x or galaxy note 9 in 2020-2021 ?Well if you are looking fir an easy to use smartphone that'll last you a long time with consistent updates then go with IPhone, however if you are looking for a do it all powerhouse that'll smash through productivity then go for the Note 9. I myself went for the Note and I'm happy with it however updates are becoming more and more scarce which is fine for me but that's up to you to decide.

Right after updating the device automatically restarts 3 times per hour!!

All of a sud... morefirst they break it with their "updates" , then they pretend not to know about it and if you bring it to their service centers , they'll tell you its out of warranty . absolutely shameful corporate behavior , no different from used car salesmen !

ml, 10 Nov 2020yup ! a lot of us are experiencing that !The note 9 is perfect for my 2 years of usage. All of a sudden my screen died on me for no reason. It all started when i updated to android 10.. 101% SURE. Very disappoting. Now i lost appetite with samsung. Seriously samsung should do something about this issue. I have my s7 edge still rocking till now, so I extremely doubt that the note 9 screen issue is caused by user.

I have my note 9 fornfew years now, then all of a sudden after updating to android 10 I started to have issues with the display getting discolored and dull. Black is not black(pixels are still on) white is yellowis,and colors became unsaturated, it all started when I upgraded to android 10. At fist it is intermittent now it is permanent. Never dropped the phone,so I was wondering what could be the probem. Anyone has the same issue?

Sometimes protection cases with magnet interface with s pen charging and stops it. U may try removing any case being used and then re set the s pen in settings. Hope it solves ur issue
