The onscreen finger is not that great on s10+ plus the annoying punch hole.
I agree the weight of the phone is little on the up side compared to s10+ but not that much, u can use a slim case instead of bulky ones. For the battery life its almost the same as s10+ I didn't noticed any difference, Note 9 only drains more battery while using the GPS compared to s10+ esle it the same battery life for both
N.B the phone I own were
note 10+ (snapdragon,android 10), S10+ (Snapdragon, android 10), Note 9 (Snapdragon, android 9)

bought this flagship for few weeks, i disliked the weight vs not so big display at that time. measured 260g with their fancy case. also battery was very poor. and the annoying fingerprint reader in the back, one of the ""innovations"" of last years.
what i hope will come back are the great bezels, easier to hold the phone, no disgusting punchhole, and you can hide many things in top bezel: 2-3 cameras, notification light, infra sensor for better-than-usually-zero unlock security.
bezels are great!
Note10 are poor with their disfunctional fingerprint readers. I wish they made Note9 Ultra:
- 190 or 180g (every gram counts! 180-200g is bad, 200+g is horrid)
- 6.5' display
- bigger battery
- functional fingerprint reader on the side or screen
- bezel with camera and infra

You spend €1000 and you can't change the battery. Over time the battery will degrade. I carry around a spare battery for my current phone. It is light enough to fit in my pocket. A power bank is heavy to carry around, plus you need a USB cable.
Now apps have black screens to save battery..... not visually appealing.
Bring back replaceable batteries and yes, I do need a 3.5mm headphone jack (which was removed in Note 10).

Nick Nick, 07 Feb 2020@pda - While that is true, no phone (or electrical gadget, ... moreI agree with your comment about not being able to replace battery's. There is no reason they can not design a water resistant/proof shockproof phone with a replaceable battery compartment. Its just corporate greed to sell more phones. One reason I not bought a new phone (still using a note 4 today) and the ones I am looking to possibly replace it are Sonim XP8, Samsung XCOVER FIELDPRO. with removable batteries. I take the hit in the performance drop so I can have the ability to swap out the battery with a cheap aftermarket one. (16 dollars for one Canadian for my Samsung Galaxy note 4)

Batte... more@pda - While that is true, no phone (or electrical gadget, for that matter) operates without batteries. Imagine the issues when all cars are electric. You'll be driving down the motorway one minute with 100% batteries and the next it will be 5% batteries - critical condition and your electric brakes and auto driver will fail!
Which is why it is a terrible idea not being able to replace the batteries. And environmentally unfriendly.

Batteries degrade quickly, especially when they are constantly being cycled which describes every phone ever.

Note9 Exynos, upgraded to Android 10, factory reset, battery life is shitty at best. Lasts much less than my S10+ - my intent was to go back to the Note9 and sell the S10+, but the comparatively terrible battery life on the Note9 is making me think again.
The Note9 otherwise is a better phone, nicer screen, no notch/hole, notification LED, SPen (don't use it much, but useful on the rare occasion). The Note9 can also be used as a weapon to beat would-be attackers to a pulp thanks to it's size and weight.

I got Android 10 OTA today on my Note 9. The phone seems so much faster in terms of overall performance. Also realized that my neighbor also got Android 10 on her S10e as well. We’re in the Caribbean. 👏🏽👏🏽🕺🏽

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2020Why ? The Note 9 is two years old but stll $ 999.99 USD . ... moreIn my country there's a huge demand for Note 9 than Note 10/10+, hence the Note 9 price is about 11% higher than Note 10/10+. Most don't want to buy the Note 10/10+ because of the missing 3.5 mm headset port.
