I noticed the selfie camera of s20 fe produces image with less light? My m12 selfie camera produces brighter photos. The s22 selfie camera too.

Tetra, 09 Dec 2022Simply awful. I've never owned a phone with worse batt... moreI have not had this experience. While it won't last a week like back in the Old Days, it certainly keep a charge for a full 24 hours.

got this phone brand new from samsung official store at $287 or around IDR4,5 million during 12.12 campaign. it's the SD865 variant. though it doesn't have 5g, but getting this phone for such low price point is easy decision for me.
can't find other phone better with similar price point.
btw I don't understand how samsung's consideration on deciding their phone's price. even galaxy a53 is more expensive, while 5g in Indonesia is still sucks.

Simply awful. I've never owned a phone with worse battery life.
I hardly use my phone during work, yet despite being effectively idle in my pocket for most of the day with apps completely closed, it's still drained in less than 12 hours.
Keyboard/touchscreen is simply awful, phone gets uncomfortably hot just from phonecalls, and the processor can barely even run lightweight games without major performance issues.
You'd be better off with a potato and 3 wires than this piece of utter, utter junk.

I got this phone last year after owing a Galaxy A7 2017 for years and overall I'm really happy with it.
I got the 4G snapdragon variant that Samsung silently launched in 2021 and I'm very satisfied minus a few weak Points:
-the front camera could've been better but they did improve it with the S21 FE.
-the battery life is almost below average to the point where i have to make sure it's exactly 100% before i leave the house in the morning otherwise it might die on me if i my day is long and end coming back home super late... obviously the 120Hz is probably the main reason but that's the feature i wanted the most when deciding to get this phone and there's no way I'm turning it off I'll carry a power bank if i have to...
-the screen ratio was kinda weird to get used to specially that my old phone had almost like a square screen ratio but i did get used to it and it's definitely better to hold.
Conclusion : even tho the Galaxy A7 2017 was getting slow after 4 years of use it still made me want to stick with Samsung so i made sure to get a Galaxy S phone instead of a mid ranger that get extremely slow with time and it's definitely working because the snapdragon 865 runs anything smoothly and keeps the whole experience stable which is perfect. 8.5/10

This phone is not that bad, if you don't buy the exynos version (which Samsung silently stopped making). I used to have custom case with heatsink just for normal use, not games, since the display and modem are insanely power hungry.
There are tricks to repair the slow fingerprint, and if you don't need more than one day of battery life, you should be ok. Just be sure to uninstall as much of Samsung spyware as possible via ADB console.

Been using this phone almost a year now.
Not really my best experience especially the battery. It drains too fast. I dont use the 120hz or AOD to save battery. On average use, I have to charge 2x a day.
My other problem is the fingerprint auth. It took me a few times just to unlock the phone. Cause it doesnt detect my print.
Also, a few software issues.

After one month of use, this phone is proving to be a fantastic investment with Flagship 2021 features that as per Fan Edition are highly useful and well implemented. Updates are necessary after first installation and set up as battery life and other features will suffer without them. An excellent phone with Samsung's stability and excellent functionality.
