Although I guess it will be few days until I get back to my normal usage. Since I'll be testing apps and things out for the first few days.

But so far everything looks great. I put on my Spigen screen protector and Spigen case. I moved my Verizon prepaid SIM over to my S22, and it's working for calls properly. Once I get things transferred, I'll need to set it up for wireless Android Auto.

Nice specs and size. But big question is battery...only 3700 mAh. Waiting for honest reviews to say if it is better or worse than S21.

S22 has 425 ppi - That is more than enough... Apple used to always have 326 ppi and nobody ever complained about low res...
And if you see the pixels then you should stop looking at the screen from 1 inch distance.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2022The problem is that S-series were never made for the batter... moreBecause the S21 has equal or better specs in everything except the screen resolution. When compared to the S20. For me, those better specs with other things, easily trump the lower resolution screen.

I upgraded several tablets, in 2020, to a lower resolution screen and an LCD instead of an OLED. But they are much, much faster than the ancient OLED tablets they replaced. And they didn't cost me much money after trade in and sale prices. For the $60 to $80 they cost me out of pocket, they were easily worth it. Even though the screens are not OLED and have lower resolution.

Besides, your average cell phone user has absolutely no clue what the resolution of their cell phone screen is.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2022Maybe it is a downgrade, but i think it is understandable ... moreThe problem is that S-series were never made for the battery to last long. They were made to be the best high end thing at that moment.
They allways have best display in the market at the time when they arived.
And you don t need super eyes to see the difference betwin FHD and 1440p on that screen because you keeep the phone very close to your face , eyes.
Sure if you buy a high end smartphone to stay on social media and some internet browsing you can t see the difference.
But when you watch a high quality video or play a good graphics game you notice alot of difference.
All people that i know and buyed S21 buy it just to flex because it is the new thing.
They did not bother to check what specs has , if it is better or worst than the previos one.
And the worst is people who waid that you don t need that , you don t need that. You don t know what i need.
And why change your smartphone with one with less specs ?
Would you change you pc/ laptop for a newer with less specs ?

strizhyk, 21 Feb 2022Looking at Huawei P30 is it like same specs!?Use the compare option on the site. And if their info is correct, The S22 easily beats the P30.

Which it should. Since the P30 is an old phone. It was released 35 months ago.

I would not want a three year old phone. Whether it was a P30 or an S10. I replaced my S10 with an S21. And now I am replacing my S21 with an S22. My S21 was easily better than my S10. And the S22 looks to be better than the S21.

Looking at Huawei P30 is it like same specs!?

Next year they will make the resolution 720p and the same fans will be overjoyed and say 1080 is not needed, this is not a TV, plus we will get more battery life because the S23 will have 3500mah and it will be so optimized that it will have more SOT that a 5000mah battery!

Anonymous, 20 Feb 20226.1 is not smal . Tell that to S6 , s6 edge , s7 , s7 edge,... moreMaybe it is a downgrade, but i think it is understandable

Since some people allowing samsung to collect data for survey too, maybe samsung saw some people choose FHD than 2K options in changing resolution, because of what? Battery life is matters, the quality? Not much difference except you got very keen eyes

So how smart samsung put the option to change resolution and may be known that people choose FHD than 2K relative to battery life, so downgrading spec to FHD can be marketing trick to make people think this phone is more longlast than other S series predecessor

Don't you forget 120hz consumes more battery than before

And if you think, why not choosing midranger? You must understand: some people thought using S series are more respectful than using A series, and some people thought the features on S series much better than A series, but at the same time they need the battery longer lasting

So do i, trade Realme GT Master 5G for S10 and S9+, old flagship worst battery but camera is great, audio superb

So has anyone received their S22 yet? Mine is still showing "In Process". But it's still showing that it's supposed to be delivered later this week.

I seen this in store its not small, small is S10e 5.8 or 5 range. Peoples small has changed.. sure i wouldn’t go as small as say 4.7 iphone. But i think 5.8 is really the spot or 6 .
