Anonymossy, 30 Nov 2021Ladies and gentlemen, we have found the person who doesn... morei want to see either, the standard return, of the/a 3.5 mm input jack, or the ability to choose one.

Yes. I could have lived with a few hundred micrometers more. 4000 mAH would have been good, especially considering the questionable power efficiency of either of the chips (based on Samsung 4nm process). Had it been based on tsmc, then there wouldn't have been much cause to worry.

On the other hand, i don't have much issue with the resolution provided on S22. 1080p is good enough for 6.1" (though it may not be in case of S22+), and again, if the display 1440p, then battery life would have further gone down the toilet.

Neither do i have any issues with lack of fast charging. Fast charging adversely affects the battery longevity and within 15-18 months, battery capacity will be reduced to 80% (i.e. 3000 mAH). I am a patient guy, i still use 10 watt chargers. :)

On the whole, however, i am satisfied with the phone, as long as it manages to provide decent battery life. I am a big fan of compact phones, and there aren't that many options in this regard in Android space. Changing aspect ratio from 20:9 to 19.5:9 is another welcome change. These phones were getting longer and longer, which i didn't like very much. (I find 18:9 aspect ratio to be the most ideal one, but sadly every manufacturer has moved to 20:9 nowadays)

Of course, the s21 was and is a very good phone. Now it costs 600€. There are people who are interested in the camera and the software and not screen resolution, if the back is made of glass ... Now about the meme ui I will not even talk...

In pursuit of a thinner profile battery capacity is compromised. Ideally it would be 4000MAh.

Hanif Fikri, 29 Jan 2022What preference you are talking? Currently 99% of Android f... moreExactly. That guy is just a dummie that will buy any garbage these big brands put out and won't question their decisions that are totally not consumer friendly. I have a Mate 20 Pro and it has a solution that till this day is used in every Huawei flagships, the NM Card, that is stored in the second SIM card slot, so if you want storage you can't have dual sim. Might cost you 70$ for a 256GB card but they're fast and at least you got the option. The P50 Pro has it too. If it weren't for the USA bans, today the P50 Pro would be way better than what it actually was and would be by far the best Android phone. But luckily for Samsung Huawei was put out the market and their incredible phones as well. It's a shame, competitiveness only would benefit the customer!

I don't give a damn about if companies take the jack out or not, my only problem is them telling people it is to save space. I don't even give a damn about jacks, I just don't like that Apple treats their costumers like dummies(which is not inaccurate actually). In fact, I have a phone without jack and I don't miss it, when I bought it I was choosing between the S10 and the Mate 20 Pro, i bought the Huawei for the chip since I live in Portugal and that Exynos was probably the worse Exynos ever in comparison with the non Exynos variants. That phone was gorgeous, small, sharp screen, light, premium feel, it was an actual flagship but just in a smaller scale than the S10. Since then the S20 was not an improvement and has a cheap look, the S21 is was actually a downgrade and is not premium also and this S22 is somehow even trashier. Impressive work by Samsung, go run to the stores and buy it, my next phone might be the Xiaomi 12X or maybe a next Snapdragon phone that stops caring about benchmarks and actually focuses on efficiency.

I've had S10, S20 and S21...the S phones are getting worse each year and more expensive....S22 appears to follow the same trend, so my next phone will be another brand with headset jack and memory card...for less money.

Seriously with these pathetic battery sizes and charging speeds. So your going to use everyone's biggest complaint in the flip 3 and drop it in this phone. Are you even aware oneplus is dropping a phone with 85 watt charging and its pro model is 500 to 600 dollars less. Here is a note Samsung either up your battery and charging specs or change your name to apple because this is a rip off and ridiculous. What trash.

Now I had buy iPhone 13 and Samsung galaxy A71 8gb ram.

                                      S20 5g 1440p screen 12gb ram.

Why make better products when you can reduce cost with lower components and customers will buy it just because is the new thing and the number is bigger.
If thing thing works it means that most people buy high end smartphones just to flex.
So people who actualy care about specs were doomed.
