Ladies and Gents,

I've owned most of the highest-end phones going back to 1996.

The GS5 is a bit big for a phone. My M7 (HTC One) was pushing the size limits for me, but this is as big as I'll EVER own now.

Screen has a 'green tint' to it. I shall have it calibrated as it is annoying. HTC One M7 much better.

Wifi is amazing. Fastest connection & range I've seen for a mobile phone.

Antutu score 37222. HTC One M7 25000.

Battery life is amazing too - and charge-time the best I've seen so far. (these two reasons were the motivation for my purchase)

Water proof too.

Speaker is not brilliant. HTC One much better.

16GB default storage is a bit of a slap across the face at this price level.

Due to the size (and I hated the Note 3 size), this is a definite 'try before you buy'. S4 is the most natural size for my hands.

Hope that helps someone out there...

The battery performance & recharge time is the main thing here...

AnonD-9275, 09 May 2014Why this phone gets such low ratings? In design sector, it... morei agree the design is not the best looking but it worths at least 6 or 7, the perforated back cover is really good at rejecting fingerprints and scratches, and like gsmarena said the build quality is really up to flagship standards, it's compact and feels right in hand. the only thing i don't appreciate is the plastic body. honestly i own a gs5 it doesn't look too bad in white. i think people are just voting blindly solely because of the bad design.

Forgot to say, once you purchased a device, being Samsung or not, it belongs to you, especially if you don't owe anything to a network carrier (means unlocked). You are free to root, wipe, brick your device or install an alternative OS all you want.

What you must be cautious about, is all those data mining companies spying on your habits and privacy. We all know them but most don't care or don't think to the future...

Anonymous, 09 May 2014Hi Everybody, All of you must think that Samsung Galaxy ... moreYou are as smart as the guy who made that video.
His app for monitoring is averaging more CPU usage than Knox.

          lol

Knox is like a VM (virtual machine), its purpose is to run a private instance within your phone and secure things, you don't want anyone could reach when you give your phone for a few minutes to someone friend or not.
I didn't read all your spam or watched whole video, but it's a great feature to have it and it doesn't drain battery more than his fb + twitter + hipmunk + etc.. full crap apps list, else everyone would have reported that since its release in last november (woa, breaking news?).
If someone wasn't happy with it, he/she could anyway flash a custom rom to get rid of it (or flash a previous Samsung rom, if he/she has a S4 or Note 3).

            Hi Everybody,

All of you must think that Samsung Galaxy phones are the best such as the Note 3, S4 and suprisingly the New Galaxy S5 etc..
            and other samsung phones.

            THINK AGAIN..

Theres app installed on samsung smartphones called 'KNOX', this also has other KNOX services and apps installed and
running in all current devices and new devices that have Android OS, which is bad!! also drains battery.

Samsung says that KNOX proctects people smartphones with advance features to feel secure. I DON'T THINK SO!!

            #TAKE A LOOK A THIS VIDEO THAT SHOW A NASTY SHOCKING TRUTH!! IT'S DISTURBING.#

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak1sYWRaEKg

            -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like samsung smartphones that don't have KNOX and other KNOX apps installed and running all the time, but all
the others are shocking. (Older devices don't have them)

I feel so sorry for people who have Samsung Smartphones all over the world, not realizing that
they're being spyed on, having all thier personal information secretly stolen and being monitored by Hackers, Governments,
Police, US Millitaries and the Authorities.

What do you lot thinK? Do you still want to spend lots of money to buy new Samsung Smartphones or with contracts.

There is another option, that is root the devices
and put anti-virus and security apps on the phones or any other phones. This avoid warranty.

Is that Illegal or Legal? Rooting Devices. Lot of people do this all the time.

Thanks for taking the time and watching the video.

AnonD-237179, 09 May 2014but then you loss water and dust resistentNo you will not loose the water and dust resistant because the S-view cover has the gasket seal inside its back cover similar to the one in the "band aid" back cover.

It will also protect the camera from touching the surface when you put it down on its back.
Plus a small piece of plastic protruding in the middle of the speaker portion acts to give space between the surface and the speaker for the sounds to be heard.

Why this phone gets such low ratings? In design sector, it may get below 5. But what about performances and features? And if the ratings are so low, why the people buy it most?
