I might get used to it, but i don't think so. It's really feeling bad this time and it's first time i think of it.
Anyway, i already ordered a black protecting case to hide it, and preordered the wireless back cover + base in black to get another look.
I don't know for materials of S6, but i'm almost sure to get it since, i wanted 64bits and QHD to upgrade from S4.
It's only because i got a -30% deal on it that i ran to upgrade.

Samsung always try to copy what other phone does. Like this s5 copying the iphone 5s with that fingerprint sensor. Apple should sue Samsung!!! I will never buy samsung. They need to nake their own ideas and change the world like steve jobs used to in 2007. I never see the bright future of samsung smartphones if they keep copying other phones have..

(i mostly agree because i'm not fond of Note series). Frankly guys, S4 was the best of the series for now in my opinion (excepted for brightness, cpu and maybe battery off course).

Maybe freque... moreThe cover for charging slot is a pain in the a** for plugging your cable the first times.
I had a few phones like that like motorola and so, it's quite comparable, i don't think it will wear off easily if you don't pull it off like a kid each time.

OK Guys.
Just bought a S5 because i had a good deal in my country upon reselling my previous phone (S4) to the store. My S4's screen had been replaced a few weeks ago and it wasn't quite the same as the original (redish top and yellowish bottom on a white screen..), so i wanted to get rid of it since i received it back from my insurance.
Phone performance seems great (fast boot, fast installs,i haven't tested it much for now), screen is quite bright compared to before.
Design is almost like a S2 from front, and seriously, i prefer the back of my previous S4. It was far better. There's absolutely no advantage despite what reviews are saying, the dotted back isn't giving me more grip, maybe the material but it's barely noticeable.
About that material, so many comments wars about samsung plastic. Well, i disagreed most comments about S3/4. They were made from poly- thing and felt great in my hands (i owned all Galaxy S). But that one on S5, i don't know what it is, but it's really feeling cheap to my taste, especially in white (the only one i could get from the deal). Back cover is just like on pictures, it depends on lighting but it goes from ok to ugly. And i really loved my S4's design / material.
Second important thing: i hope samsung will read me (i seriously doubt it) : THEY REMOVED QUICK GLANCE FEATURE !
There's no option to turn it on in menus, i'm seriously pissed just for that. It was a killer feature for me : just hovering my hand over my phone screen off, to get a quick fade for 3sec displaying useful infos like missed calls/sms/time/battery left..
Damn it! Maybe it has been forgotten, hopefully they will readd it in a next firmware upgrade but for now, i'm more pissed to see a stupid move for making a screenshot than my quick glance feature, more useful on a daily basis.

HTC have got it half right as before no memory slot no removale battery
Now they are selling the phone on "metal" like the iPhone it will scratch unless you have some sort of protection
I don't know what the cost of the S4 was but from reports the S5 cost less than the S4 at launch
re Apple iPhones every single iPhones cost more than its predecessor which can't go on
there is nothing new to add to smartphones or put in so another camera hike faster processor etc
