Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Based what I saw selling this phone on line price is over $1,200 USD. It is too high for me to buy phone with this kind of price. No phone worth that much to pay to make a phone call and sliding icons around on home page. I have my HTC Touch wthich I am fairly happy with.

Omnia has a very good look compared to HTC diamond and Apple phone. The 5 mega pixel camera has how many X zoom?

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2008Yes it does have the 3.5mm jack for headphones :)Are you sure there is a 3.5mmjack for headphones? If so why are loads of people selling adapters on eBay? I’ve looked through the user guide and can’t see this anywhere. I also checked the 360 spin but the cover for the headphone port looks too slim to be concealing a 3.5mm jack. Can any omnia owners confirm/verify this? Thanks in advance.

Repeated attempts to download i900 Quick Guide from Samsung download centre
failed - I got the U800 Quick Guide instead! Presumably the linked is faulty!
I uge Samsung to rectify this now.

Amr, 23 Jul 2008hi guys . I have Nokia E90 right now . Do you think I shoul... moreDear Amr,

I think the Samsung is a much more modern phone.
Nokia is always good and very simple to use.
The Omnia weight MUCH less, has a faster processor, is smaller in size, it work on Windows Mobile, has a full touch screen, etc, etc. On the other hand, the Nokia is a fine machine and also complete, has a better screen, a real QWERTY keyboard. Personally I like handwriting recognition.
If you have the money I would suggest you to buy the the Samsung Omnia. But the choice is yours of course.

Good luck with making the right choice!

Agismap installation process. First, goto the storage card and install NAVFone_PPC. Next, a folder called 'agisNavi' is created. Click on NAVFonePPC and you will need to activate the software. You will need to find the card for NAVFone where you will have to scratch the coated grey stuff off to get the License key. Then goto agismap website and enter your license key and machine id in exchange for the activation code where you will need to enter to the OMNIA phone. After that you are ready to use. To use it, you will need to set the planner. Ensure port is set correctly and the Baud rate is set correctly. Choose auto-detect. I had difficulty using it at first because I was at home. You need to be out in an open space for the phone to plot all statellite position. Everyting is perfect now. But everyday when you are using it for the first time, it may take 5 minutes for the phone GPS to register with the statellite again.. Cheers...
