it is asking for an wifi connection for registration. Is it so? It says gprs not available. I have bsnl3g.

you have to select the internet profile of 3g of Aircel.
Ask ur aircel customer care about APN Settings whether it is default or u have to create manually.
since you were using the mobile even before 3g was available in Aircel it is improbable that you will be having a default setting..unless you select proper profile u cant use 3g.

Also if u upgrade to the next firmware version it will also sort it out as its a known bug.

Oliver, 24 Feb 2011brynn., for me it's better to save your files in your pc in... moreI am using 32GB card with 24.5GB of music.The other problem is i have to leave spare capacity in memory card cause hidef video recording takes up 80MB per minute.I n the past i cherry picked songs till 32GB card came along but crushing to 4a would have solved the problem.
The only fone ive never had a problem with m4a/email set up/twitter/etc was my first ever blackberry the 9105.It has now gone because i love concert hall setting on wave (sgs as well)and screen a nd big battery.I like sgs better but there is no led flash.
I am a NOKIA/SYMBIAN person at heart but symbian is very tired as from n86 onwards.

Still no bada 1.2 in Samsung Kies.
What Samsung wants us to do? Fly to Manila, head straight to SM MOA or SM Megamall just to get this freaking update???
Without proper support for M4a files in bada 1.2 , I starting to doubt it's really worth the wait. And if the text message capacity is still 1,300......

my samsung wave was restarting itself.at a point it is only showing the samsung wave screen.phone is not starting.I have used it for 3-5hrs.I donot know is it software or hardware issue?are there anyone having this issue?

brynn, 23 Feb 2011Thank you for that input especially m4a files.I had tonnes ... morebrynn., for me it's better to save your files in your pc in mp3 format, but it's better to use m4a in handsets.. because the file size differs. For a 1 gig mem card you can store 700+ songs of m4a while if mp3 files are used. you can only save 200-250 songs..
the problem is that samsung wave doesn't support equalizer and effects for m4a files.. hope samsung would fix this prob. I have a 8gig mem card. currently I have 370+ songs and it eats almost 4 gig already in my mem card.

Hi Guyzz,
I updated the firmware to 1.0.2 and since them I am facing a peculiar problem. Whenever I am re-starting my phone(which is due to out of memory problem), I get all the deleted delivery messages back in my inbox.
Kindly help.

Hi,
I have one question . I want to instal bada 1.2 becouse most of the new aplications i samsung apps now are whriten for bada 1.2 and not compatable with bada 1.0 . But mu question will or not bada 1.2 support aplications from bada 1.0 . I guess it probably will , but still .

Yesterday AIRCEL launch 3G in Chennai and they introductory offer free 240mb of data usage till 27th feb', I have SMS START 3G to 121, after 10min they activated, in my mobile SM Wave show the icons on top of 3G, automatically the settings has changed like/settings/connectivity/network/mode-UMTS 900/2100.
Than I have open internet and youtube, the message is coming Service unavailable.
Please help me how to use 3G to use internet in my Samsung Wave.......
