Hi
I am from india. i tried to upgrade my wave to bada 2.0
In the mid it says "unknown error occurred". and stops. i tried many times but could not succeed.
Any help is much appriciated

I tried to upgrade my firmware to DDLC1 for my Wave S8500. In the middle of the way it says "unknown error occured" and stops. I tried many times but could nt succeed.

Usman, 11 Apr 2012I hope we will receive official Bada 2.0 in April.last year 1.2 update got here in pakistan after 1 week when India got it . so guess have to wait 1 more week . this Tuesday might be that day.

Bala, 11 Apr 2012I'm facing the below error when i tried to update my firmwa... moreI spent the entire night on kies today :( my phone got bricked.getting the same error/menus and I am able to access only on kies mode.I made note of the emergency recovery code. I need to backup the data and try that. I think my phone has gone kaput :( .fortunately the download mode still works. so i can still manage to flash using multiloader. Never tried it though :( was patiently waiting for official bada 2.0 only to get screwed.let me know if u get past this and are able to install the firmware thru kies

I'm facing the below error when i tried to update my firmware to bada 2.0
"Software update on your phone has been paused. To prevent unexpected errors continue to upgrade your firmware via samsung kies"
I'm not able to use my mobile in normal mode & able to use it only in kies mode where the menus are accessible but the phone is not detected by Kies for reflashing.
Can some one help me on this error?

S8500XXKK7-OXAKL6Perhaps your device is running some rogue application in the background.Just re-start it and close unnecessary widgets and applications like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi if on.Turn brightness to 1 when away from the power socket.Use darker wallpapers.
