Hi!
Find it very annoying that the brightness in the browser always defaults to 4.
When surfing in evening U might want it to start as the rest of the phone, like 1 in brightness.
Maybe it will be fixed in 2.0.

samsung disappointed us ,we did not get the bada 2.0 till now and the date pushed to April 2012 or later ,still no useful apps,i only lost my money on this bad os,android i am coming.

Bada reminds me of Meego. It's a dead operating system with no support. Oh, my mistake, Nokia do role out updates for their dead operating system.

I own a S8500 and it is a great phone.
It will be even greater if they will make the updates to Bada OS available.
This phone was designed from start to support Android too. I think they wanted to have a second chance in case that Bada OS affects the sales.
It will be nice to offer an update to Android instead of agonizing to release an update to Bada 2.0

main problem for bada as an operating system isnt ba... moreAgree agn. Dont give us 2.0, give us apps. We will be happy. But if they go other way round, ie 2.0 comes n yet no new/relevant apps, that will disillusion us further.
Some apps i wud like to see
1. Opera (not mini) or any browser that support diff file format downloads, plus waiting times simultaneously.
2. Chm book reader
3. Audio player with equaliser editing
4. Video player with colour saturation editing (that normal/cool/hot thing in native player is not that potent)
5. More influx of hd games
6. A bugfix for better gps locking.
7. A bugfix for 2g/3g data connection. In same netwk, my n95 gives me a better speed.

the thing that tortures us most I think...is the fact that almost all of the new apps that are available in kies or in websites like badadownload.com
are for bada 2.0...
its like they are taunting us with bada 2....and we still cant get it (officially)
if only they release a bug free beta of bada 2....might jump ship and flash already hehehe

main problem for bada as an operating system isnt bada itself
granted I think most will agree that bada as a phone with alot of features does well...
it seems to be taken down a notch only by the measly number of apps available
s8500's problem is samsung itself....with samsung being...samsung
too busy creating knockoffs of their galaxy line and fulfilling their own agenda of "high end smartphones for the masses" that they seem to forget an important aspect....and that is user support
samsung is too busy creating new phones that they overlook one of the most important stuff that actually made them number 1 (for now) in the first place....that is the updated specs and software of their new line of phones
its just sad that s8500 is made by samsung
if only it was made by sony ericsson or Nokia...maybe things are very different to what we have now
in that regard it seems sony ericsson offer the best user support with them promising to update all their 2k11 android phones with ics this kind of user care and support was also evident on the way they supported the xperia x10....they updated the x10 up to gingerbread coming from a donut(alot of things and features were added since...)
it seems this kind of attitude and user support will pull sony to the top....
its kinda sad to be a samsung fan >.

Hi guys!
I have bought my wave last year, I was so excited to see new OS bada because I switch from "dumb" phone to "smart" phone. But after year of using i can see that Im switched from dumb phone to dumb phone with no free good games+application. So my wave has good camera, screen and hardware but not software. My wave keep freezing at shooting 720p videos, my wave is unlocking itself and I was planning to upgrade to bada 2.0 but what can I see? Many unsatisfied customers with no upgrade, but why? Galaxy series has alredy schedule to take ICS but why bada has not to get update?

Not sure if it is available in stores atm., one thing is for sure.. it is going to be a major flop.. no sane person with a single on tech details will ever buy that
