Anonymous, 30 Jul 2010guys why u complaining about the battery life? i got the ph... moreThe battery on my wave lasts less than two days also and I was worrying about that since most reviews give the phone top marks on battery life. (It's the highest ranked in terms of battery life here in GSMArena)
I live in the Philippines, but bought the phone in Honkong (it's cheaper and the warranty they give there is longer than the 1-year given here, but it's harder to go to if I need to exchange the batt). From the feedback of retail users though, it looks like I might get a batt with the same lifespan even if I exchange it.

[deleted post]Is there an 8gb Wave anywhere? From what I understand, it just comes in 2gb (partitioned though into 3: storage, apps & messages). It takes up to 32gb microSD cards though. The Philippine Samsung Mobile site says up to 8gb only in the spec sheet, so I guess that's why some people keep asking about higher capacity cards

guys why u complaining about the battery life? i got the phone it last 2 days with heavy usage, i think in my situation battery is good enough, i use iphone 3gs also now thats a weak battery life but thats why chatger is included maybe ur mis using it thats why it drains the battery faster than usual..

a, 30 Jul 2010i hav tried switiching off the phone after draining the bat... morenah no issues dere i think,batt lyf aint tat grt...i having the same issues batt wont last longer den a day ....mah fren also got the fone...same issue...

Hello All i am a very big fan of wave from india.
And am planning to buy it and luckily i have saved the money needed to buy it.The only thing i wanted to know is the piece worth buying as many anonymous people are posting very scary things like not able to use email,and not able to open sites by using GPRS etc..
So the real users please help me by suggesting that is there any very big issue with the phone.
And i have foll queries 1)Can i download apps from UK site.
2)Are there enough apps available on website.
3)Can i configure my office email on the Wave
So guys plz help in buying ur new friend his dream mobile.THANKS IN ADVANCE...:)

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2010Many features in this phone are annoying .it do not have tr... moreyou know what it is not the phone features are annoying ,you are the annoying one,because the .avi files are large files so it should be downlaoded via a laptop browser not a phone browser,also i did not get that you could not transfer movies from your pc to your phone,i have no problem in doing so,even a 5 year old kid can do it,and talk about somthing you do not understand the true multi tasking means the phone is capable to run multiple apps in the same time not just a background image like the iphone,so in your case the downlaod stopped but not the soft ware,and for the battery life it lasts 3 days under normal use,but if you are trying to down load movies using wi fi of caurse the battery will drain fast.

Hi I bought Samsung Wave from Chennai India.I want to upgrade my Firmware from JE7 to JF2.I have installed KIES with UK as country. Can I use the same Kies to upgrade my Firmware or do I need to reinstall Kies with India as my country ????

Hi GUYS,
Have u tried the following options if not try these.
1. Press the center Menu button and Lock button at the same time to capture(Print Screen). The screen shot will be saved in Images folder.
2. To Search double press the center Menu button u will get Search.
This is for some wave users who don't know the features.
