it is really a cool mob. The most exciting feature i met in it, is that u can rule off all those annoying calls ("unknown receptions", "hidden numbers"). U can also set many phone numbers which u want to hang up immediately (rule off)settings-->call settings-->all calls-->auto reject (on), where u can choose "Reject unknown" or/and specify your auto reject list!!! it is really cool! Try it!
Does anyone know how to upgrade to the newest firmware. I've found/download it (zv10buek1.zip, i think) but how do i install it to my call???

Hi all, another kiwi here. Got this phone last week, its way cool. Also experienced not being able to edit your contacts via the pc suite, I would assume that this problem cannot be fixed? Seems a shame, but hey, if thats the only problem with it, it can't be all that bad :) Have traded in my nokia 6101 for this one, and so far am pleased I did :)

one more thing guys, if u can help.. i used to have a sharp gx25 and i could transfer my contact list to the computer.. but now how can i get my numbers on the samsung? pc studio 3 doesnt let me use the contact management... any ideas other than introducing one number at a time by hand?

Andy i forgot to tell you that you mustant intall like 4 games at one times you must copy one to the "Games" file at a time. For example you can put 20 files in the "other documents" but pass one by one to the "Games" files so that the games work! Some games you must get

Cornelious to put the mp3 songs into about 800kbps, you have to get nero 6 or nero 7, and then you go to audio converter, you must convert mp3 songs to mp4. In the settings you put maximum 1000kbps. The amazing thing is that the song doesant loose quality!! Try do that i have 30 mp4 songs in my ZV10, all exatly thesame as the original mp3 song.

Thanks José for the info on how to add java games by USB cable. Took a bit of time to fathom out but I cracked it in the end. I now have Pacman installed on my zv10 :-)

GUYS
Very very important, i found how to get like 5 days of battery life!!
Ok its like this
You have to dial this number *#3695147*#
then you go to network & call settings
then go to service domain
and select CS
that is to turn of the GPRS, GPRS will be activated automatically when needed like to send a MMS, and will go out automatically as well.

It´s not very good wich I have to say!
In my job I need phones cause I drive a lot of time during a day an I have several meetings a day!
I got one ZV10 near "VODAFONE" (Portugal) and nobody said me that the equipment had no ring´s signal at phones! What can I do to solve this problem? Portuguese law obliged me to use phones, when I drive! During the meetings it´s not very good have had rings on!I byed (I want get)a rabit and they sold me a cat! VODAFONE wants to came-back the equipment and give me my money! They sold a lot of this mobils and the people dont know that they are doing an important mistake!
I think that this situation is unaceptable at business world!

I updated my flash on the ZV10 today from ZV10BUEI3 to the latest (I think?) ZV10BUEK1 Firmware just to see if it would cure my bad battery power problem. Everything went straightforward with the update.

This phone has a feature to check emails from a POP3 Account. The only thing is that my password for my email account contains an asterisk (star) in it and I cannot fathom how to input a star in the password on this phone, I can get every other symbol than an asterisk - anyone got any ideas of how to get it?

Shame that when you are watching a 3gp movie file that there is not an option anywhere to get rid of the banners and icons to watch the movie full-screen on this phone.
Using a program called IMTOO Encoder I have managed to convert an .avi to 3gp file that works perfectly on this phone.
