this phone is the best phone as of right now. If you guys are looking for a very decent camera phone, I suggest getting this one. The battery life is superb better then any other companies such as nokia or samsung. I tested out many phones, somehow SE manage to become the best. The only cons about SE phones is somehow the cell processor is kinda slow otherwise all the features are really good. I really like this phone and my internet with using this phone is fabolous. Edge makes GSM a difference.

It looks like there was not much testing done before the phone was released. What about people who have bought the phones? The service depot takes a very long time to replace these phones. In India you get no reply from the SE site email. What is happening? Is SE listening? I wonder how many are stuck with this phone.

Got this phone and battery dont last long!! Its ridicolous I didnt use the camera and only some sms and battery still drain very quickly...Dont buy this phone..

K790i here, Great phone !! I'm a little dissapointed with the BlueTooth when it comes to handsfree - but that's the only time the Bluetooth gives me troubles. Blog straight from your phone too.. If you are looking for a Multimedia Camera with the funtion of a phone - this is for you..

The k790i, is a junk phone. There are some posts from an individual, singing its praises. I too have this phone. I made a mistake buying it. move on folks, save your money.

Great Phones.. for Canadian and american buyers....i bought mine K790a ( with 850 Mhz) from www.sntradersonline.com...Loved the reception...had a k790i ( no 850 Mhz) ...reception had a big problem...

well i see the 6233 more appeling because it price its more than 100 euros cheaper, it have better video but worse camera, but if you own a REAL digital camera that won't be a problem and you will get EDGE and 3g speeds on your side, nicer texting and not so many keys on the phone.

m2 memory card is memory stick micro which is brand new and very expensive
the video quailty is at QCIF not QVGA so video recording is horrible
and it DOES NOT come with a memory card only the 64 mgs of internal memory that is it no external memory

Hi Guys
I recently purchased this K790 handset, I do love it for the features and it takes best pictures than any other mobile phones.
you can choose it among 1, 2 or 3MP resolution images. it does have a lot of digicam options, (it literally is one though).
There is video & Photo call feature, recent msgs list, along with recent call list. you can store a lot of applications/files for its built in memory of 64mb, and we get additional 64mb micro stick. Phone is pretty fast, without any hang ups, n it does have a lot of good things to say.
Internet access is quite fast and easy, thanks to the
Now for the Cons - its been hardly a month, my handset went blank twice, shutting down itself, and i had to plug out n plug in the battery back again to get it turned on. not sure what causes this problem, planning to drop into any of the SE service centre in a week or two.
then another thing is abt setting tones for SMS, theres no facility of personalized tones for SMS, you can only have a common tone for all the SMS you receive.
So these are some of the Pros' n Cons' I got to say on K790.

Guys !
Yesterday I saw K790i in the shop close to my house. I was tempted to buy it. Well, a few things still holds me back from buying it.
1) It does not recored video at 30fps
2) It sill uses redundent QCIF format while competitors are talking about "Near DVD quality" !
3) I have a spare memory card,battery,headset and charger of K750i. Can this be used in K790i ?
4) I think memory card would not fit 'cause M2 card, used in K790i is very small
Any comments ?

I love this phone SE is great company.. i love using SE phones.. But there is one main disadvantage of this phone that is the size of the phone.. wich is not easy to carry.. its like dummy.. over all its good...

64mb. I'd reccomend buying a 512 or 1GB card if you plan to put any music on your phone. They aren't too expensive, I bought a 1GB M2 for 60 USD

Please I really am looking forward to buying this phone always have been a great fan o the K series especially the 7 series cos I believe they have the best camera's in the market no doubt. PLS CUD ANYONE TELL ME THE SIZE OF THE MEMORY CARD THAT COMES WITH THE K790
