I hope it isn't a typo, but it appears Amazon.com is selling the K790a. The description says 850/1800/1900mhz. Please note I don't work for Amazon.com and I benefit in no way by posting this.
I'm just another person frustated by lack of places selling the K790a.

Hi Yz, my friend who went to Singapore on a short visit came back with K790i. To what I understand he got it around High Street area. Somewhere near Penisula Hotel. My friend left for Sydney on Monday. I can only give you exact detail about the Shop only after a week after he is back. Talk to you...

QQRW, u sure u saw singapore selling k790i for USD380? where did u see that? care to share with me? i cant find it anywhere in singapore..

has anyone seen the k790a out yet? i know the k790i is out in canada but havent seen the k790a .. fido n rogers r totally clueless when they getting them too

Freinds, I got this phone last week in Indonesia. It costs $ 460 with 64MB M2. It is very expensive over here whereas our neighbourhood Singapore this phone is available at only USD 380.
It is a great phone. Couldn't wait longer for price to drop as when I saw it in one of the shop, I immediately grabbed it.
One of the websites posted some pics taken by SE K790 in comparision a professional camera from Canon. Well it was a pleasant surprise but I feel too much respect is given to this phone.
But I would confess it is great gadget which would be your companion as a Digial camera, Walkman, Organizer, communicator ( email ) and it also has a good web browser, though browsing with GPRS is killing in Indonesia, phone companies charge as much they can when you use GPRS.
Friends, I have not tried Nokia N73 or N93 or even 6233, but to what I feel this phone makes up to a great extent as you good companion.
Do try it to know that I am not wrong. You will be satisfied. But I have been hearing some stories about phone getting hanged etc etc, mine has not till yet.
So this all makes up to my loss of paying high price on this gadget.

k790i works in USA. I have been using it (Ohio) since it was released.

This looks like a nice Sony phone but i left Sony cuz of the 1900 mhz reception which was pretty pathetic with s700i, k750i (both i owned). Luv my samsung though. Dont get me wrong SE has nice phones but reception is main thing for me. Sorry sony when u build a rep for reception like nokia i will come back to u.

oops, post it on the wrong phone. the one i got is actually k800. k790 is little bit cheaper without the 3g support. so i decided to get the k800.

well, i just bought the phone in chinatown,nyc for $440 without the memory card. i want the one with the memory included. the price is only $40 more for the 512mb m2 card. they said they don't have it instock. guess i have to order it online or somewhere else. btw, great great phone. i am so happy with the camera quality.

But they only have the k790i not the k790a.

great phone at a great price. great camera quality. u all wont believe that after getting the pics. developed they didnt seem to be taken from a mobile camera. u all guys go for it. best product with best camera options in the market.

Yes it comes with 64mb memory. I got it too.Please set the photo resolution to 3M and click. It may hang, if it does then you too got a defective piece like me. All the best.

).What he does is he will give you the original Peace and the Battery is at times Duplicate along with the charger and the memory card.

You need to use the phone carefully and SE has excellent Calrity in terms of Camera and the Screen. It's worth it.

There is a tip to maintenance the joystick. One from our friends has share that.
