Hello there!!
I am in the Netherlands and I just bought the phone a few days ago. I saw your question and I thought it would be nice if I could help u out. The memory card is on the side of the phone when u take the back cover off. U don’t have to take out the battery to see it!!!

This phone is excellent.
Good-1.excellent battery
2.loud and clear sound
3.enough memory
4.bluetooth
Bad-1.memory stick costly

i've had this phone for a while now and it has been faithful to me, the only problem i've had is that the screen will go all white and the only way to get it back to normal is to take the battery out and turn it back on. other than that the W300i is funky and efficient with music. gotta love music

this phone supports up to 1gb m2 card. a single battery charge, when playing songs, not just lasts for 12 hours. it can take you up to 20 hours, or 28 hours if you use the walkman application solely (walkman/flight mode).
i recommend you buy this phone. at a cheap price, you'll be contented as if you're using a w710 although not having a nice camera (you can just a buy a digicam). this phone sounds great; the mono speaker is really loud but not as loud as w550's which is stereo-channeled. although somehow bulky in the pocket, don't expect it to be heavy; it's very lightweight.
again, this is a MUST-BUY! :)

Hi, I got this mobile last month and i am very much satisfied with this phone. In India i got this
at 8750/-.It has bluetooth, Infrared, 256 memory,
USB cable, Walkman series, Radio, Extendable memory,
Beautiful themes, Games, Softwares and average Camera. But day light photo graphs are good with this cam. First i too worried about the cam but insted of paying 5500 extra for W810 i, i can buy a digital camera with 6.0 Mega Pixels by adding some more money. So friends this mobile is perfect in all and battery back up is simply good. On 100% charging, i can listen 12 hrs continious songs with high volume..
Hats off this phone.

hey sasi,
i own a w300i but out of those three phones, i have to say the w550i tops it all. it's a reliable phone. if i could trade my w300i for a w550i, i would. my mate owns one, very good phone. my w300i is running on a 1gb m2 memory card so therefore, it does support 1gb. if you want sound and camera quality, i suggest w550i. the camera from my phone isn't that good. it's not a big issue for me because i don't touch my camera. but the w700i, not that good on sound compare to w300i and w550i. if you're still not satisfied, then just chip out a few hundred more and go for the w850i. it has everything you need. i hope this has helped you.

hi guys!!.I am looking forward to buy a walkman phone.at first i thought of buying w300i.but some people told me that camera is very bad for w300i.so I shifted my views to w55oi.but It has got non-expandable 256mb.so my views are forced towards w700i.no matter the phone is excellent...the camera is very good.but I did'nt like the design of that phone.and that.....
joystick as well...It is very smooth enabling it to wear quickly.I didn't see the clarity of w300i camera practically.i was just told so...some others told me to buy nokia 5300/5200 xpress music..but i don't like their stereo headsets.Any way,I decided to buy SE walkman mobile phone only..but which one...???
please suggest me with details...w300i or w550i or w700i???Does SE w300i give clear pic
like that of w700i or w550i????are extra options like editing pics,effects like auto level etc are available in w300i??????

to download clublight theme- go to internet services and sony ericsson- then look under themes, all the themes there are free to download straight to your w300i

hey guys,i have a prob with my walkman. when i play music in the walkman player,the music stops and it makes this buzzing noise. this very loud buzzing noise. at first, i thought it was the bit-rate (compression). i've tried: 128,160,192,320kbps and they all make the buzzing noise at certain times. anyone know what the problem is?

Hi All,Two Weeks back I bought this and I am very satisfied with the performance.
It is stylish (Flip Phone).Hasall the features under budget . The only difference between this and w810i is Camera...but do not forget comapring prize ...diff. of 4k to 5k. Voice qauality is awesome, loud.The only thing that could bug me the VGA camera..but its really good and very much comparable with 1.3 megapix.Battery backup is good.

hi,
I got this mobile 1 month back. I got 2 problems..
First problem is that my memory card is showing
237 MB only.
And the second problem is that when i am connecting my mobile to any PC,at the time of removing it is
showing "try it later".
I want to know why this happens..
Plz help me out..

I bought today this phone..What can i say,for me,it wasn't that cheap.but i think it's worth every penny i invested in it.i'm satisfied and i hope that i won't change my mind in a couple of weeks..buy it..good sound quality...radio...nice stereo speakers...good phone

look man i own a w300i for 2months now, it it a real great phone it matches up to w810i no regret. although the w800 sounds a bit louder the w800 has no edgewhich is bad! also the screen has less protection than the w300 ( clamshell screens are better protected) the camera is 1.3mpx take a extended phot at daytime when the sun is out u will see then if it is vga or 1.3mpx. one thing don't take photos at night though can't see hardly anyting.don't care if w810 has led light i use my torch or my w300i lcd screen it's bright enough for me.
