To joel.........
I'm not telling u what to choose........but i'll tell u why you will choose SE instant of Motorola:
1- SE is a Java based operating system and it's very popular now so u can add, applications and lots of games and they are every where on the Net.
2- SE Camera are based on Sony Camera with Autofocus feature "very useful for professional shots" ( which as my expirience the best mark in Cameras) just look at the k850i cause it's a camera based phone and u'll notice the effect of CyberShot.
3- Sound: The SE has the best sound quality in Mobile world....and the number 1 earphone as the last statistics........

Finally maybe u'll notice the V6 maxx has better resolution and display quality, but without autofocus and Radio and also it's not a music based phone.......so think about ur needs and what u look most in a phone......
As i always advice "a good phone,is who combine performance and resonable price"....So don't forget the price that u'll pay against the performance.....

    to 3afsa, hi. im curious about this flashing thingy hehe.. whats the reason for flashing.. hmm for costumize menu or something? thanks.

      I really don't know what tlm I'll buy.I'm confused between w610 and w810, please, help me to chose!!!!
      My father will give 1 of them next month and I don't know which.
      Help me please!!!

        well.....i don't thik it's dangerous but not 100%, sometimes some people may have problems.....just know what to do and don't make any operation if don't know what is it or how to do it..........and always make sure to pik off the sim and memory card before flashing...........

            To Raz....Hi
            I have this proble of sound too........that's beacause the cover of the battery is very slim and it's plastic....
            2- About flashing the phone i was tired of looking around the Net, but i found a solution and it work 4 me....i install a lot of Flash menu and they look great.....
            Use the software named "SeTool2 lite".

              btw i found a small problem
              the battery cover of my w610 kinda produce squeaky sound... and i found out some of the users out there is facing the same problem too
              other than that this phone is perfect, suits all my needs...
              and btw.. do anyone of u know how to flash ur phone to other region's firmware?

                if youre going to read some opinion in w510, heres one i found...

                'Too much positive review... I have this phone for a three weeks and four keys are already cracked. Slider is loosy, and navigation keys are too tight. And also I was disappointed with plastic quality, too cheap. All in all, I returned it due proble...

                there.. and i suggest go for w610. buy this fone and buy a digital cam. okay? hehe this fone's camera aint that bad, only some old fone's camera like that of w810, w610 is lesser but it doesnt mean its camera is buttom crap. okay? buy this fone. you wont regret it.

                  Just to make it clear for those who are confused or are wondering about this and that.

                  1.Display:
                  It`s TFD-LCD and it`s the most greatest 176x220 LCD I`ve ever seen.Much greater than the one on W810 or K750 and so on.It has the best colors and contrast you can imagine.Also it`s physical size is larger, but this somehow doesn`t makes the pixels to be more visible to the eye.You gotta see it with your own eyes to understand what I mean.

                  2.Camera:
                  I don`t like it.It`s worse than the one of K750/W810 but still can produce good photos.Also there`s a zoom but only when 640x480 photo resolution is used.The same applies for the videos it takes.It`s not bad but not that good as you may be used to see.

                  3.Sound:
                  Gosh, this thing sounds great WOW.No matter if you use the headphones or the loudspeaker.It`s just amazing.Walkman 2.0 makes the things even better.And yes there IS MEGABASS.

                  4.Performance:
                  I`ll say it simple.It has excelent performance in the menus and it outperforms like 3 times W810i in the java applications (jBenchamark 1.0 / 2.0 / 3D used).This is one of the main reasons to choose W610i over W810i.

                  5.Design, feels and looks:
                  Until you don`t see it and touch it you can`t get how great it is.Very slim and sylish and in the same time very comfort to use.I`ve the black-orange version and the orange color on the pictures that show the phone here and there just don`t show it`s real glosy look and finish.

                  6.Keys:
                  After 1hr of use you get used to it and it`s not small at all.I see no problem using it for typing long text and such.It`s just not the thing you used to, but in many aspects it`s even better than the ones used in K750 or W810.

                  7.Misc that have to be mentioned:
                  TrackID works

                  You can access the digital standby clock by pressing once for short time one of the volume keys when the display gets turned off no matter if the keypad is locked or not.

                  M2 is an advantage and not disatvantage.

                    At first the keypad will be hard to use, but after some time it will be so easy! You CAN view videos in landscape mode, not so sure about the rewinding part, when I get home I'll check for you.

                    I'd also like to add that the phones look much BETTER in real life. The plush orange is more attention-demanding- your eyes can't miss it; it's lovely. The Satin Black is more austere and gives a sense of serenity!

                      The W810 has better camare because it has a better lens relation 4.8mm compare to W610 3.8mm, ocourse W610 has Bluetooth Stereo and Tracid, I am very touched to changed specially cause bluetooh stereo, thats a major advantage.

                        Does the headphone, speaker etc...works good?

                          the keypad is veeeeery OKAY! no problem with it. and you can forward or rewind the video, dont know with full screen, havent tried.

                                I agree with solman when he said:

                                -he meant the battery cover or the back cover..

                                hes right.

                                but damn, i hate people when they compare between the pictures/camera of w610 and w810. i think, w810 clearer bcoz it uses the TFT lcd while w610 uses the TFD. i think its not the picture, its the LCD, the display, the screen. and i read in some review or was it in wikipedia that says TFT is clearer than TFD. the reason why w610 uses the TFD is bcoz it consumed less power. so battery life is higher in TFD lcd. anyways, in terms of picture, TFT lcd have a clearer display, thats why most ppl always say w810 has better images. so pls, dont compare thier image quality, its not its quality, its the LCD used.

                                  Hi, Twan.....I bought this phone in Black/orange and i find it more elegent and attractive then the sliver/black....try to search for an orange phone in any mark, u will find it rarely, not like sliver or black...this what give it a unique look......

                                      So I've received my SE W610 a few days ago. I'm loving it. Review will be up shortly.

                                      I WILL BE ANSWERING QUESTIONS FROM YOU GUYS, OK?

                                      I would also like to say that the DISPLAY IS CRISP AND PERFECT. Yes, it's TFD, but you can compare the display to the W810's TFD and still be amazed. The camera is awesome in natural sunlight, but alas it is not that great in artificial lighting. If you really care about pictures, don't get this phone get a digital camera! The pictures look good on the phone, and that's all I need- to capture the moments, not put it all on the PC. Multitasking, the w610 is a master at this! Simply awesome. The sound is just as loud as my old w810, so no faults there. The internal memory can support you themes, games, webpages, pics etc. Reserve your memory card for your awesome music. I have yet to get a 2GB m2- I'm sure it won't lag. EDGE works like a charm, using Opera Mini 3 or 4 is a delight. The phone's browser is QUITE good too.

                                        i had this phone for a month now and i have no problems regarding the performance,the software,no lags,no hangs,eventhough ive replaced it with a 2gb m2.etc. the walkman 2.0 is great and the track ID is good too but the bad part is the camera,i have a W810i too but the camera of W810i is much clearer and better than the W610i's.images where much crispier than they appearin W810i. but that's not a big deal. the battery last almost 3 days to me with mp3's on and normal usage. i love this phone,worth buying. its good in multitasking activities. the phone's software never slows down. this is worth buying than W880i. i had a W880i but i sell it to a friend. the great part of W880i is its slim,walkman 2.0 of course. but the sad thing is,it lags and the screen is much smaller than W610i. and for the camera lovers,W880i's camera has no flash and no autofocus,you better buy W850i then.eventhough it doesnt have autofocus,it has a flash. i hope this helps. For me,sony ericsson never ceases to amaze us. but you must have a lot of bucks if new comers arrive. more Fascinating phones for SE's will come up.
