But i need all the feature and no other phone can provide better feature than XPERIA..

This is like my dream dev... moreXperia is a good phone, a bit delicate, and you have to be a bit tech savy to speed it up. Make sure you dont put it in with keys ets. The lens is soft, it cracked very easily.
Functions are great. I use all the best handsets in the world, this one is the better one so far. so if ure confident that you can deal with WM6.1, its a great phone. If not, then avoid it.

Xperia is a good phone. Best Ive used appart from the E90, for emails, TXTing, ETC. Camera Cmos chip is good, but standard lens is pathetic, if you touch it cracks. I had to manafacture a new lens and housing to protect the lens in my pocket.
Phone is a bit slow. Good functionality. I had the Omnia, its much better than the Omnia. Omnia is good, but slow and difficult to use. XPERIA is easy, touch responsive, 1000X better than the Iphone.
Sound is a bit bassy, but overall great phone.

Well I read a lot of opinnions ... so the SmarthPhone most have something ... anyway .. a just buyed one and I'm waiting for ot.. Is not a Cheap SmarthPhone ... so I hope I don't have the same stupid troubles that I have with the TYTN II .. specialy in the audio subjet.

a PSP Phone should have been better...I just hope Sony Ericsson will decide to release a PSP Phone soon...same as what Apple came out with the iPod...

I think this phone is terrible. I had this for 2 weeks and wow its slow and freezes. Dont get me wrong it has alot of good functions but i just wouldnt get this phone if you need to do things done quickly.

I have a quesiton, you know how with palm phones, you have the "chat" feature for text messages, wherein all messages appear as if you're chatting unlike nokia and other ericsson phones wherein you'll have to go to the inbox to see the incoming messages and sent items to see the outgoing messages? I am falling in love with this phone. I have a treo 650 and the only reason im not letting go of it is coz of the chat feature... can anyone tell me how text messages work with the X1?

Hi, i'm a big fan of XPERIA X1..
This is like my dream device..
Cause it got all feature that i needed..
But i'm confused with 1 thing..
Why people always tell me not to buy this phone?
Even the seller told me not to buy it.. (the seller told me this cause i know him for a long time, about 7 years, since i bought my first phone from him..)
And many big shop in my town seems afraid to have it by ready stock (if we want to buy it, we must order and the phone will be ready for the next day)
And it seems everybody have been shouting disappointment, and why is that?
Then, yesterday i went to the phone mobile mall, it's a big place that sells phone mobile from new to second and i as far as my eyes can see, XPERIA X1 second is everywhere..!! Many said, only used 1 day and want to sell it for very cheap price..
Now, i'm getting confused..
Why the situation is going like this, after waiting for XPERIA for almost 1 year (i think?)
I need all your opinion,
Should i buy this device and iqnore all negative things that people said?
Or maybe i should consider another device?
Such as HTC Touch Pro or BlackBerry Bold 9000?
I really need all your opinion, so i don't made wrong decision..

got one, 08 Dec 2008Had one about a week now and once used to the navigation ar... morei think it has smthin to do wth the whole formatting thingi..coz in ma psp manual it says tht if i format the memory stick on a pc it wont work on ma psp anymore..like it cant read the card after tht..so may b u hav to reformat ur sd card..in order for xperia to read it wen u put it in..u can do it on ur pc..don worry, there wont b anythin like ma psp case..coz phns r compatible wth pcs like tht..so go ahead n give it a try..hope it works

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2008Well, 65k colors screen on Xperia is far better than 16 mil... moreEXACTLY ma frnd!=D..they juz don get it..thn theres ths another group of ppl who goes for the count of Mgp in a cam..BUT they seem to b unaware tht the more pixels a cam has..the bigger the size of the pic is..NOT the quality of the pic..they don seem to care bout the quality..they want it to b 5/8mp..they don give a damn bout the quality of the pic..i only put the picz i take in ma pc n upload on fb..i don print the picz on a poster size..so i don know y they need such huge picz for? =S

I must just say that this phone IS A MUST for any network admin.
I have successfully setup an ad-hoc wireless network to my laptop and bridged the lan to it so I can VNC any of the 15+ computers on my network at the tap of the screen. Added bonus is the internet connection is also bridged :p
This phone is a pleb killer, get it if you know computers. Otherwise if you struggle with advanced computing then you are going to be baffled by windows Mobile.

well here is me typing on my x1 while browsing this site... as for slow, sure it take 2 seconds to open a different panel... for the switch from landscape to portrait... is really fast... unless there is internet bejeweled and coreplayer(video player) running in the background.... so far it crashed once... and it wasnt really a crash the panel worked i just couldnt change panels... i've had it for a month now and love it. keyboard is great... i wrote a lab report on my way to university... bittorrent gets speeds from 100 to 200 kb tops... only problems there are some ppl block wmtorrent as it is not widley used so its unrecognized... basically my laptop broke 2 weeks ago and i wont be getting a new one til christmas and this phone is more then enough... plus its the best looking phone so everyone stares... especially the jelious iphone retards
