yeah buddy that is a good review. Anybody who has bothered to write something on this site, should have a read of that review.

And Wong, if you are still going on about the 65K colour thing, I think this phone is not for you, you should look for something a little more simple. Good luck.

I have this phone for about two weeks now, but still i hvan't figuered out yet if you can assign an mp3 ringtone to someone WITHOUT having to copy it from your memory card to the phone's memory. Does anyone know the answer?

HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Attenuation\2 registry setting from the default 1 to a higher value (between 1 and 5) and this will factor up the volume for most phone functions. Once you've done that reboot the phone for the change to take effect.

BTW, in my family we use WM for long time, and we still use an old device without ANY crash!
I am not a big fan of WM but it can be reliable even in a HP device (very old and used daily)- which not famous about its reliable units. :))))

So the argument that people having problems (crashes etc.) with X1 because the unfamiliarity with WM is hilarious :)))

Yes, you are the smart one and we all just not smart enough for an X1 :)))))

Only buy the unit if your used to WM or at least willing to learn from websites such as modaco.com and xda-developers.com.If your not willing to put some effort in or are technically deficient then I'm afraid your going to be making comments like the numpty below.

                            I suggest to all fanatics.

Okay, you do not need to believe all the users negative experience with the X1.

Go and buy the unit, use it for 1 WEEK, but get it with a good return policy!

You will take it back most likely.
Especially, once you have seen the competition.

The price yesterday was 895 USD

the latest price: 860 USD (Today)

                                Tomorrow probably about 830 USD

In about 2 weeks: 700 USD

In two months : no point to buy even for hardcore SE FANS - Hikaru will be out!!!!!!

Typically I spend about £70 a month, but it can be as high as £100 sometimes. I requested an early upgrade, told 'em I'd happily commit to an additional 18 months if they gave me an X1. No dice, so I'm putting my line rental down as low as I can and taking out another on O2 through mobiles.co.uk. The worst bit is, the b@st@rds are sending me my first bill in 2 weeks - before I get the phone or even my SIM. I know where I'll be telling them they can stick it sideways...

Ive used my SE P990i for more than a year and had to put up with 2 to 5 crashess per week, (have cheked this with others using diferant phones on deferend networks having the same problem) I changed back to an ordanery 32k simcard with full videocalling capabelleties and havend had a single crash for 2.5 months now.
