It’s no news about a Sony Ericsson handset that it can’t set white balance correctly by itself, so on most open-air images there is too much blue color. Still, probably no software update will help the image noise and lack of details, edge sharpness is also far from being perfect. I could say that I’ve been disappointed by this as well, but considering the other parts, I didn’t even expect much…˝

for those whom battery ran out too fast....turn off all device after using it by click on top right click on setting >>> stop all....that way you keep you batery life longer.

well after 8 months of waiting finally i have this device in my hand, its really perfect the performance is good but like any computing device if you push it too far it will halt but in that case you can still see this device manage to work it out(for instance if p990 halts it takes about 5-10 min to recover or you need to reset it),the design is perfect everything makes this device elegant and modern, but the only thing that you may notice the little movement between lcd and keyboard but its not a big deal all the slider phones have this property so far, the screen is magnificent you can see details perfectly no blink nothing its simply perfect. in case of auto rotate you can just assign a right/left soft key to auto rotate and rotate the screen whenever you like.
the only problem i have with this device is that the active sync of windows mobile doesn’t work on the vista so there is a little challenge the connect this device to computer. but in general this phone is perfect.

Nobody should be even considering any negative remarks by any of those "anonymouse" losers who never had the luxury to even look at the real Xperia and now are giving reviews like they had it and it gave them so much problems that they returned it. Most of these are basically Nokia 3310 or 1100 poor users who don't even know what a good mobile means...LOL
To all SE Lovers...just don't listen to these contineus rants about Xperia being outdated or buggy or battery time not good or anything like that, most of these posts if you observe has the same pattern which is ...loads of bulls*it and NO facts.
Xperia is one of the best mobile to hit market and those who neither have the money to buy it nor has the ability to understand the basics of an WM device are posting crap about this set.
And add those who are literally pulling thier hairs off with frustration since thier "favourite" brand has completely failed to produce a set which can match Xperia in style and functionality...and with that ugly brick called N96 failing so badly...yeah all those loyal fans in thier desperation only can do what they always do, that is ...LIE
Xperia is neither buggy nor outdated, for any person who has a working brain and ability to understand new things, new concepts..its a perfect device. But its so sad that many people in this world have the brain of the size of a peanut and they can't accept that some other brand can produce an equally or better device than their "beloved" brand. Its pathetic if you ask me but thats how it is and we will have to bear those losers wether we want it or not. So just don't listen to those pathetic remarks by people who have never even seen a real Xperia with their own eyes and are trying to be an expert on this sssue.
