i agree it is getting annoying i work for o2 first it was meant to be released on 6th of oct then the 13th and today i found out the launch date has been moved to the 20th of this month...but i will wait...patiently or impatiently i will wait...best phone on market

Business development guys from SE might wanna have a look at the comments. will give a fare idea abt what the customer thinks. certainly help them plan a better strategy for launch of their next phone. X1 has already lost its fizz

There is a mo... moreHave been looking but nothing beats it ,,for all its big features it still has best battery and thats usually gauranteed with s/e.ITs just not accessable at moment for some reason,,if it shipped on 30th sep somebody must have one??????

September 30th 2008 was the official launch date for the Xperia X1. It will initially be available to consumers in UK, Germany and Sweden. September 30th is the date the phones were shipped out from the factory. Retailers may not be selling the phones yet due to the fact that they most likely did not recieve very much stock. For US consumers, Sony Ericsson will anounce release date for X1 on November 3rd 2008. Novemember 3rd is not the release date, but only the date when release will be anounced.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1a for North American market to be announced on Nov. 3
I guess Sony Ericsson decided it was best to come out with two models of the XPERIA X1 to accommodate different markets.
As far as North America is concerned, the X1a will be released in the region including Latin America and Australia. The other model, the X1i, will most likely be the one debuting in the rest of the world. Anyway, the main difference between the two models, aside from the network configuration, is that the X1a will only be able to record at 24fps as opposed to 30fps which I find a bit odd.
The release date will be announced by Sony Ericsson US on November 3, and hopefully this time they’ll be able to stick to their word. There may be more differences between the two models, but for now we have to wait.

The X1 has been delayed yet again!!!!! Instead of the originally confirmed week 41, it is now confirmed it will be week 44, October 27th-31st!!! SE, this is really get silly now...tip for the future, just be honest.

There is a mobile exhibition in London soon, if the X1 won't show there then I will give it a BIG miss and I will buy the next best..

this phone is better than iphone even omnia
and ı should indicate that xperia panel is unbelieveble design which is better than iphone's multitouch interface

I called up se and they said that x1 will be released in india this month... It is expected to cost upwards of 30k and should be available before 22nd...

No track ID! IT say's on here that track ID is available with this phone but unfortunately, it isn't! :-(
