Sony Ericsson Turkey announced that the phone is going to be available in the first quarter of 2009. Usually there isn't a big difference on the date the phones are released in Turkey and in Europe. If this is the case again, you'd have to wait some more months for the phone to be released. But SE may be planning a different strategy this time and the phone may be released much earlier in Europe, who knows.

Sony sucks so much right now with these delays and this is ending up like the imate 8150 saga.
Waited a year for the 8150's "coming soon" ass to appear and then it sucked so I bought an iPhone.
Not that anyone least of all Sony cares but Touch Pro here i come

Yep What's going on?Xperia X1 won't be in UK shops for another two weeks and now the nokia 5800 (tube) has been delayed and won't be available until 2009. Obviously touchscreen devices are harder to produce than run of the mill phones like k850,n96 etc

by the time this is in shops it wont sell cause no ones got any money,,anywhere in world,,every person i know is cutting back and expecting a poor xmas..And i am being serious,,paying out 45 quid a month for 18 mnth or pay other important bills???Whos going to buy it sim free when that money can see you thru the winter,,s/e getin wrong again..

if you are tired for waiting this phone then hate it..my advice is buy the other phone and stop complain this phone...
iam still waiting this phone until end of NOV because iam sure SE added many good features on x1 because of that SE dont feel that they will loss costumers
