you guys are all lame..
yes its taking forever i get that
but X2? even if it does come out then who cares? its going to be slightly better but nothing worth making you rethink of buying the X2 when you just got the X1
the features on phones arent being upgraded that fast. relax dammit. even if they are upgraded then what you going to do? its the same all the time. if the X2 comes out then X3 then X4? what you going to do? change every time?

give it a month or two to come out.. hopefully
the phone is NOT big.. its the size of the K850i. which is a good size.. its smaller than those big ass sidekicks so thats small enough for most of us.
costing 1000? you guys are all crazy..
the Touch Pro around here (South Cali) cost about $600 U.S. so the X1 will probably be about that price. but not much higher.
LOOK AROUND PEOPLE. dont be paying $800+.

and if SE don't release a WM7 ROM you can bet your bottom dollar someone else will cook a WM7 ROM for Xperia X1

The operating system can be updated.In the past HTC have released WM6 ROMS for devices sold with WM5.When WM7 comes to life there's nothing stopping SE releasing a WM7 ROM for xperia x1.

It will release on 30/10 worldwide. 2 month2 later, SE Xperia X1 will replace iphone in every news ^^. Let's see

if its about xperia then nothing new has emerged recently altho here in uk it should get here mid october..i am wondering how vids will display on screen,,,when i had samsung f700 for a while vids playback in landscape mode only took up two thirds of screen???
The comment about windows 7 and xperia 2 are true but i would not expect these early plus if you wait for them xperia 3 will be on way and windows 8 and you will never end up buying a phone,,its the same as 5mp cams now people are waiting for 8mp then it will go to 10mp and people will wait for that so in other words to keep market flowing they up the anti until your next fone you get you will be 4 years older

Im a SE fan... but this phone drives me crazy
i mean .. still not out yet
what's the point of anouncing a phone and then make the fans to w8 for at least 8 months to buy it
i these days 8 months is alot ... the tech is changing and evolving every day .. this phone is really outdated ... i mean only for the OS ... WM6.1 is old .. in feb 2009 will arrive the 1st WM7 phones... and probably XPERIA X2 ...
also in 2009 or later this year, the 1st tegra phones will arrive ....
in sept 2008 will arrive the 1st Android phones ...
SE you lost me .. i wont buy this phone...

its a big and bulky phone i think. it should only be for business use only. it will only be available on o2 and possibly orange. i tried it out and it had a lot of things missing compare to the sony ericsson G900. i give this phone an 8.9 out of 10.overall an okay phone. available in england january 2009.

well this phone will come out this year 2008 and the other SE phones like G900 and G700 are already out so probally this phone will come out this September 2008 and about the design this phone has cool design it's slim and made out of steel which avoid it from being broken and about the features well it's terrific it has a 3G that runs 7.2 Mbps and it has also Wifi and Edge and this phone too is built-in GPS receiver and built-in GPS function and the battery don't drain easily bec. this phone has a battery life that is almost 1500 which is long battery life and what I like the most that it has a Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor so probally this phone will perform well and fast...

Actually i`m new in this platform(Should i mention it!That`s clear from the question!)
when getting a software it`s usually a .exe file which we can also run on PC.Some times we should install it ans sometimes not!
I will be very thankful if some one explain the missing point for me

Seems a strong smart phone ready to be used as a powerfull working machine, the main problem is the sad fact that Sony Ericsson will never place it out for us... duuuh
