Actually you are WRONG.The TyTN II was labelled as aGPS and hells bells it has GPS built in!I suggest you read some blogs from people who were at the conference and know what the heck their talking about!Sat-nav will be immense on this Pocket PC.Consider the following-inbuilt GPS,3inch WVGA Touchscreen and the enormous amount of GPS software that is available for WM6.

Actually it does not have the gps, it just has a-gps. Both in an e-mail and over the phone they said that they get there position from the towers only. They might be wrong and that may change because the "white sheet" is not completed they said, but for right now, no regular gps, I really like this phone and I didn’t want to here that..

Hey guys, I just got a response from Sony Ericsson regarding the type of memory card the X1 uses, and guess what!!!
It uses any of the 2: either microSD or Micro M2!!!
Same as seen on the K850i...
That's awesome!!! best thing Sony could do...

Those defending Symbian are misled.Symbian is c++ based but only on the surface Symbian made their own home-cooked version of exceptions called Leaves and quite honestly it's a total mess. You wonder why programs aren't advanced?well let me tell you it's very hard and time consuming to make correct programs in Symbian, on the verge to be impossible in many cases.

Steve please get a life. Many people are tired of Symbian. The software developed for the platform is so basic, yes their's plenty of 3rd party programs but their so damn limited.WM6 or Linux is the way to go..

It is clear that WM6 has its limitations. It is a processor and battery hungry OS that is not suitable for mobiles. That is why although 65K colours and 16M colours are native to the OS manufacturers opt for 65K because the power hungry WM OS would strain to sustain higher colour depth. Ask yourselves why Nokia's E90 supports 16M colours for TWO screens one of them being high resolution. It is because the Symbian system is more suited to mobile phones. This Xperia is no laptop replacement. The PPC pretends to be one but it never will be. If you truly want to do some serious business work you need a laptop and yes they are portable. As for the Xperia we are not certain how it will perform. Will the keypad be tactile and responsive? Can the Qualcomm processor reliably handle VGA res? It has never been tested at this res.

Thank a lot SE! I have always wanted SE uses WM. I am young business man and use a lot of exchange emails, appointments and contacts. Nothing can compare to WM regarding to that.
I can live with 65K color screen, it is more than good enough. It is bright enough and save the battery. What I need is wifi, high speed 3G connection, bluetooth, GPS, radio, a good battery life and a good mp3 player with 3.5 mm headphone jack as well. What else do we need more? Nothing at all?
3.2 MP camera is also more than good enough, otherwise, buy a real camera. I can trust SE's camera quality, sound quality and build quality as well. X1 can be a reasonable quality camera, a good mp3 player and many more.
4GB M2 is good enough for my storage for Musics and photos and 400MB internal momery is more than enough for PIM, Emails and all the softwares I needed.
Who on earth gonna says X1 is not the best phone we ever have.
I will definitely buy it but I hope SE would consider affordable price for the phone.
N95 - gave it to my friend after 3 days of usage due to bad battery life and slowness. I can do lots of registry tweaks in WM to get the phone the way I want and a good advantage as well.
Iphone - not for me. Just a piece of junk.

A useless piece of technology.
A 65k colour for a big 3inches screen is quite out of hand.
The nokia N95 8GB and the new nokia N96 both have a big 16million colour for a 2.8 inch screen.
As it has a big 3inch screen, we should higher graphics should be expected within. All companies go forward, except for Sony Ericsson - keeps jumping backwards.
The good features that this device has, is the up to date touchscreen, that makes life easier.
