To be honest, even if Sony launches this mobile in India, I will not buy it just because, I do not want to spend my hard earned money on a fancy gadget which costs too much. Though it is so, this mobile is extremely Good for those who can lavishly spend their money. Not every Good product of every organization is bought by everyone. But, everyone has got the right to speak about any product including Rolls Royce Car. I can't afford to buy it though I may speak about it. Good luck.

But, for your information, there is no hard and fast rule for anything in this world. Above all, we can't dictate to any of the organizations around our globe about anything related to their products or services. Either we have to take it or leave it. Coming to the products of Sony, everyone knows about their products whether it is advertised or not. Don't we keep an eye on most of the happenings around our globe? If Sony decides to spend more on advertising their asking price for their products would increase. As I have already mentioned in my previous message, every organization has their own Marketing Strategies. We may comment on their end product as a consumer but, we shouldn't comment about anything related to their policies and procedures. We are in no way a better teacher.

take everthing away too and sell wireless headphones glow phones up anti repair and cloud storage and say people willing too buy this instead and pay more money for it
people willing too pay for crap so brands make crap because it sells better then a good phone
just watch sony fans buy phone without changer blind fans like a frog in boiling water

They just bumbled around and did nothing to create hype on the Indian market. It is very much important to advertise products, just look at the other brands. They do so many campaigns, and advertisements using Social Media and E-Commerce platforms to create hype before launching the product. And, that requires.

I wish they follow MI/iPhone/Samsung's marketing strategies and bounce back from where they are.

Sony need not advertise their mobiles in India since they don't sell mobiles in India. But, they do spend on advertising in their motherland Japan and in other countries. Other products of Sony has their decent advertising expenditures in India, not to promote their product but, to inform their products to end consumers. Every company has their own Marketing Strategies. Whatever be the case, Sony is always taller.

To my belief Advertisements are not needed for a Good product since it will automatically sell itself. How do you come to know this device without advertisements? If you get a chance will not you buy this device? This proves that Sony devices are Good enough to prove and sell itself with their present Marketing team. Sony mobiles left India because there were only few takers for their devices since, they price it higher than competing products. Only few of us need flagship grade products. Profits from poor sales cannot justify maintaining a manufacturing division for mobiles in India, the reason why they closed the division though they have their market in other countries.
