Guys, is there an auto rotate toggle from the quick settings widget, I can't seem to find it? Is there a way to add that function to the proprietary quick setting toggles in widget?

      Thanks

AnonD-116724, 11 Mar 2013Hey~ If u hav issue wit non-removable battery... Why dun ... moredude by holding the screen off button for 10 seconds u can switch off any Android phone. and in apple you need to hold both home key and screen lock buttons for about 10 seconds to switch it off even if it is locked.

the main advantage of a removable battery is that you can have a spare battery. most people don't understand this.

Ok.. just got my black XZ today.. will be testing batteries, viewing angles, and most likely everything negative and postive that I've read here. Firstly, I did a drop test on the second floor to the pavement below and dunked it in the tub.. it still lives so far. :)

I am the proud owner of the Sony Xperia Z phone since 1 March.
The only one the little "but" in this phone, is place where situated speaker. It is to easy to cover it with you OK finger ;-)
And seriously Sony can teach Apple, how to create the good innovative product. Because Apple lost its spirit long time ago.

AnonD-122621, 11 Mar 2013Hi there xperia users. I'm currently using iphone 4. Im no ... moreBoth phones are great. Xperia Z wins in looks, processing power & toughness, whereas, Iphone 5 has better optimization, display, headphones & pricing. Both phones has same quality camera but Xperia Z has the upper hand with HDR video & burst shots. & Iphone might just have the better virtual assistant software. Altogether it depends on ur preference and also your budget cuz u have to pay extra pennies for the extra power of Z

Aside from overhauling its choice of materials, Sony has also stepped up big time in the display department with a new 1080p panel. That’s over 2 million pixels squeezed into a 5-inch footprint, resulting in a spectacularly dense and detailed display. Try as I might, I could never discern an individual pixel from those around it, which is hardly surprising given that the 440ppi (pixels per inch) density of the Z is roughly a third greater than the 326ppi of the iPhone’s Retina display. In fact, with most 720p displays already achieving similar results, you might say the full 1920 x 1080 resolution here is surplus to requirements. All the same, it feels good to know that any Full HD movies you choose to watch on the Z will receive a pixel-for-pixel reproduction on the phone’s large display. Even if that's largely a psychological comfort rather than a practical advantage.
Color accuracy and the automatic brightness adjustment are both well calibrated on the Z, however Sony’s latest flagship retains a weakness from its predecessors: poor viewing angles. Tilting the phone away from you (in any direction) quickly washes out the picture. Neither the optical lamination of the screen nor the software enhancements of the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 can prevent the loss of contrast and color fidelity when looking at the Z from an indirect angle. It’s disappointing to have to keep harping on this issue with Sony, whose whole Xperia line is characterized by the dichotomy of sophisticated design and inadequate LCDs. Just once, the company should splash out on a truly gorgeous display, such as you will find in the upcoming HTC One that the Xperia Z is going up against, and see how much of a difference that makes. As it stands today, the Xperia Z is more attractive with its screen turned off rather than on.

Hi there xperia users. I'm currently using iphone 4. Im no stranger to android phones used a motorola milestone before. the reason i crossover to iphone is mainly because apple's retina display which is truly natural for photos, videos. u name it. Unlike samsung which i find the colours display to contrasty even if you already adjust the display.(apologise to the samsung users) And mainly because of its reliabilty of not crashing. but i was wondering about xperia z.

How is the screen display, the processor speed and the reliability in comparison to the iphone 5..? I'm in a dilemma of choosing between this 2 phones.

The one which attracts me the most is the waterproof, dustproof. If its shockproof then this is the real deal. And the camera, And of course the 1080p video.(i like to take photos) I read the specifications. Its quite oustanding. But just need a little more push for me to decide.

Any of you kind people care to reply to my posting please. Thank you. =O)

Sony Xperia Z has a non-USER removable battery and not non-removable battery. You can get your old problematic battery replace by the professional by just simply go to service center and let them do it for you. As far as I know, non-USER removable battery is more durable and reliable than the removable battery.
