What I would like to know is why Samsung hasn't addressed the issue, you'd think due to the sheer volume of complaints and issues they'd say SOMETHING. I posted on their Facebook and Twitter asking about why they don't interact or inform their customers that the problem has at least been aknowledged by them. It seems like a ploy to me to try to drive up sales of their new products. Android 4.1.2 update screwed my touchwiz, so I've been using Nova Launcher ever since that happened. I've sent so many emails to samsung and they just ignore them.

1)the phone freezes so much
2) unacceptable battery life
3)lock screen is not responsive 60% of the time, the home button doesn't response nor does the power button
4)the audio keeps stopping, literally every 4 second there is a pause.
5)the phone is generally much slower.

For all of those who regret or on some degree blame on Samsung due to the lags or bug in the latest 4.3 update, I must say that you either did the update OTA, or you didn't wipe partition cache and do a factory reset!
I flashed the phone with the UK 4.3 ROM and the phone is blazing fast and smooth, also nice UI improvement!\
Thank you Samsung!!!

I have a month ago my samsung galaxy s3 ... Factory comes with 4.1.2 .. yesterday install this new version 4.3 of U.K. I have no problems blocking or delay .. no light as in s4 .. sometimes I say my wifi is not stable( sometimes) ... I find it a little "lag" but everything else is perfect .. several enhancements. everything is perfect, it is stable.

Got the update the other day slow lock screen terrible battery got fed up probably be weeks before they roll out a fix. I would suggest going over to cyanogen mod they just released an app on the play store that basically installs it for you 4.3.1 much smoother batter life is great much better than then terrible 4.3 touch wiz rollout. to download the app you might want to find the apk online as i had trouble downloading the app from the play store but its extremely simple to do

guys there is a massive difference of upgrading from 4.1 to 4.3 if you have updated from WiFi or kies it might give you problem and also its necessary to factory reset after upgrading software try to update the software from official Samsung service centre, it might solve your problem if still problem persists its problem in the software i am from India and here there has been no rollout so far for official 4.3 so be calm

do not upgrade s3 to Android 4.3 cuz is really really crap batery drains in half a day without really using it and is also not responsive. DO NOT UPGRAGE. hope it will be sorted soon cuz is really annoying

have had massive probs following upgrade
phone doesn't charge battery
battery drains quickly
phone locks up - have to take battery out and restart
power on/off and home buttons dont work intermittently
the phone appears to be laggy
this is going to be my last samsung. they ate crap at software management.

Guys if you love ur phone please do not upgrade to 4.3.. wait for 4.3.1 or later versions. My phone is usless after the upgrade. Most of the sensors not working properly. Phone freezes and a lot of lags.. unlock wont respond to 3-6 sec everytym.. battery drains like hell... n the list continues.....

I did a 4.3 update on my S3 on Monday and have had screen lock lag, battery issues and a phone that now appears to lock up at various times for no reason. Spoke to Samsung and they are aware of the 4.3 issues, and are apparently working on a solution, although no timescale to when the solution will arrive. Asked if they could flash phone back to 4.1.2 but was advised that this is not possible. Just have to sit and wait for 4.3 update to sort current issues.
