Guys am sry but why u r purchasing Samsung products. . Samsung are not known for making gud lag free softwares. They only concentrates on powerful making hardware. Nw tell me whts the use of gud hardware if u have buggy software? ? Am nt a Samsung hater but this is the truth. Only htc makes gud software. .

I am a Samsung fan but since I updated my Galaxy s3 to 4.3 on Monday I've had problems! The battery drains a lot quicker but the thing that angers me the most is that the screen takes about 5 seconds to come on every time! I am angry and now this has driven me to buy the HTC One Max which I bought this morning! Very disappointed with Samsung!

Dont Update This is a samsung scam, a useless update designed to break the the performance of the s3 in order to drive sales of newer models.

I did update two days ago to get ANT+ support. To my dismay it doesn't support ANT+.
On top of that it eats battery faster and pressing the on/off button to turn on the display has a lot of lag (like 2-3 seconds and sometimes up to 5 seconds).
So if your phone works I don't really recommend this update.
What a bunch of liars are Samsung :_(

the best thing to update is OTA.. cuz I'm in Bangladesh and alrealdy using 4.3 on my s3 via flashing the official firmware from SAMMOBILE.. the thing is it lags so so much.. dont have any idea whether its a true update or not.. so I reccomend everyone just to wait few more daysn update via OTA from your respective country...

It's not arrived in India. If some peoples are updating in India they might be rooted there phone with 4.3 or else they have purchased there phone from outside of India. All are rumors only please keep visit sammobile link for more info about it.

Jake., 13 Nov 2013I hope we can get 4.3 update here in the Philippines.im also here in the phil. why wont you try to visit sammobile.com , even if the firmware is not in our region respectively, you cn still flash it right into ur phone , as long as it is openline/ open to all networks.. u may try saudi arabia , malaysia . india... but im using the UAE

Updated yesterday night, did a factory reset before and after, just to be sure. My phone is not rooted and while it was a bit slow for the first 10-15 minutes, it is now as fast as it was in the past. Nice updated UI with a few nice extras (widgets on lock screen, etc) but some not so nice things too : not possible to use location based apps (e.g. Llama) to put the phone in airplane mode at night anymore and the battery was down to 50% after only 2.5 hours, after a night on the charger. I've restarted it, we will see how it goes...
