Apple are the worst scammers. This proves it. It doesn't have to do with batteries, just Apple slowing down their junk so you buy new sh-t. Boycot those effers.

Well, it's a weird company anyways. What else could one expect? I am running the latest version on my iPhone 6, so far I don't experience very much slowdown, but it lags more and more over time.

Thats crazy espically when they don't have such big battery and put fast charging only on handsets that cost over £1000 plus don't include fast charge block.

Let's not exagerate, plus that most of the time, in reviews, Ios is faster and apps in general are better on the iPhone than on Android. The only reason I don't have iPhone it's because I don't like their intentional limitations like this one, but speed wise iPhones win. Exactly like iPad or Mac when compared to the competition

303tk4, 21 Dec 2017Whatever you meant by the word optimize, and how much bench... moreIf you read my post I said when they went past the dual core cpu stage, apple only introduced quad core in the iPhone 7, and ios is better optimised, there's no fragmentation, if android was only allowed on high end flagships it would overall be better than it is now, android is more versatile and as OS ecosystem it covers a massive amount of devices, that's part of the problem, yes you get good choices when it comes to android, and that's why I've always stuck with that.

Wow, Apple does it again, they just make their consumer's lives better by introducing new features.... Why provide new battery, we'll just slow down the phone, that'll show consumers how much they care.... It's their way of showing gratitude (or middle finger , but what do i know, i am not an apple fan) to their loyal fans for spending so many dollars on their products....

s4f786, 21 Dec 2017No that's not the case at all, ios is a lot more refined th... moreWhatever you meant by the word optimize, and how much benchmark scores iPhone got, old iPhones are much laggier than Android's same age counterpart.
I've used iPhone 4, 5s, 6 and they all slowed down while my z3, g3, op3 were getting faster and faster as time and update went by.
Also you should watch some youtube videos that compare app launching speed and ram management. iPhone hasn't been the king for several years despite the paper score.
We should snap out of the same-old myth

*sigh* Why I'm not surprised? Apple does it again and, sadly, there are people who actually believes this is an improvement. US companies would go to any lenghts to make money.

Atfer being 7 yrs of Android user this year I switched with iPhone. But now I’m regretting it as iOS getting more buggy after every update. I was never an Apple fan and never gonna switch to iPhone till Apple gets shut down.

End of the day consumers should have known about this from day one, when people updated they should have gotten a message saying this was a change, and it's not like it's a small aspect.

I am far from an apple supporter in my 13 years of having smartphones I've had one iPhone 5, I have Samsung s8+ now. Your analogy is incorrect.

Feature !!!!!!! How easily they ride on the backs of their customers/fools...

Fusion , 21 Dec 2017Still faster than any Android..LOL!!!I think the point is that the iPhones were faster than Androids because Apple were allowing them to draw more peak power, but once the battery has started to wear they can't do this any more and so the iPhones run at the same or lower speeds than same generation Androids. which means that you either need an expensive battery replacement or regular phone replacement to keep that speed advantage.
It's interesting because US car engines used to have higher reported horsepower than German ones, but it turned out that the US ones could only maintain full power for very short periods while a Merc could run hard all day. It would seem Apple is copying a well know US specification trick.

They pushing their users to android 😂😂

And this is a clear example of how much they can abuse of their closed system. They know that the average customer is tied to them due to the ammount of money inverted in apps. So this is a clear way to force you to do something when you start to feel it slower. New one? Or pay us for unlock their full power in our customer service replacing the battery!!!

Who knows how that "feature" is programmed? Perhaps even you couldn't restore it's full performance changing the battery by yourself and only a special key can if it's done in an official service....

Hopefully some more fooled customers sheeps will join the large list of those who openned the eyes and left the Apple's prision.
