      Sure it does possible to replace with other countries, but it need to takes time.

      US aren't be able to get those countries to provide them the same quantity as China and same or higher quality goods immediately.

      It will take 1 yr - 3 yrs maybe, during that period, Are you sure the state economy is stable?

      There is another thing to take note, due to Trump decision, most of the Huawei's partner in US, the stock price is dropping.

Didn't you see Nike, Adidas, Under Armor and all the other US-based sports goods giants crying to Trump just yesterday. That's what awaits thousands of US companies, not just a short list of 10-20 Chinese ones. That's whats coming for the US companies and the average consumer - either the US companies will carry the burden of this trade war and lose billions each month or the US consumers will be paying double and even triple for everything. Trump is about to single-handedly destroy the US economy without even China doing anything other that just not giving in to his absurd demands. It's not about spying or 5G infrastructure, he expects that China will bow down and give up all of its economic advantages which ain't happening.

        And let's not forget that China holds 1.1 trillion dollars of the US debt. If they get too fed up they might decide to take the heavy hit and dump all these bonds, which will annihilate both the US and Chinese economy but China will recover a lot faster

          What he forget is that China is filled with billions people getting wealthier and that's a market every occidental company aims for if not already doing the most of their profit from there.
          Plus China is already leading on renewable Energy and some other future proof market, when M.Trump is willing to return back to the good ol' dark age of the cold war (things were so much better at this time! You could litterally nuke islands just for fun and show who's dong is bigger!).

          But china will not stops to use the US for their own growth. That's exactly how they became this powerfull and will continue to do so.

                  90 days, just 90 days,
                  I'm sure China can figure out a way to help Huawei without this turning into a full scale war, because one wrong move will probably mean world War 3 and not just a cold war. If China bans US products from being manufactured in China by demolishing all US factories it will heavily affect US economy but there are quite a few side effects to the ban, like China economy being effected as well. But time will tell what happens next.

Funny, I thought it was your Extremely Powerful US of A™ and your American Companies™ that rely heavily on Chinese exports and Chinese factories. Won't it be the US economy that will suffer greatly once it can't get the sweet cheap Chinese labour that they love and live off of?

                      Some of the dummies comments I ever read is in this comment article. You people just don't get it. If, China retliates againt the US because of Huawei and ban ANY US goods, China's economy is DONE!

                      Think about that for a second.

                      No Hasee
                      No Hisense
                      No Skyworth

                      And that's just for starts in hardware area and let's not even mention the oodles of companies that uses the the US software in China.

                      It would be catastrophic there in China economically and it would take many years for China to recover.

                      While at the same time, the US would just enrich other countries like India, South America, Africa and bring many of those jobs/companies back to America.

                      Yes, it would be a small chore for many companies to adjust to, but make no mistake about it, the outcome would be very strong in the US favor.

                      China played chicken with the extremely powerful US of A by retaliating on the US by their stupid 25% tariff on $60B of goods, well, China has gotten its feathers plucked... HARD!


                        To all those thinking Huawei is innocent (and to those Huawei haters I.e. Samsung and Apple haters), know this
                        1) Huawei has a founder but no share holders ( they claim their employees own the company). They are not also listed as a public company.
                        2) You remember data from the African Union being sent to China. The networking was done by Huawei.
                        3) How account for the financing, management and R&D for a company apparently owned by it's employees (employees being the Communist Government)
                        4) You remember that whenever another company announces a new/innovative, Huawei and some upcoming Chinese company always seem to come up with a similar alternative.
                        From the above, you can see how Huawei is a treat to national security since it is (not officially) an arm of the Communist party.
                        Now has the US any prove Huawei spying on US or stealing the IP of its companies?, probably not. But Trump is using the treat to national security (which is real though) as a negotiation tactics to push

                                    There is no reason for Samsung and Sony to be banned in the US. I'm pretty sure Samsung and Sony won't be banned in the US.

                                    For the mention, Samsung technology is used in the government of the US and many more countries.
