Now no. Stop posting the B's that Huewai isn't selling locked down phones. Xaimei at least let's you unlock your phone. You can not root a Huawei phone.

If Huawei drops google android, other smartphone companies will follow and its going to be big lose for google. Huawei is not going to go anywhere because Chinese and countries around china don't use google services and China alone is more than 1.5 billion people compared to EU and US 600 million. Huawei simply dose not care.

Truthfully what's more dangerous to US Chinese using their own developed custom os and services or they using OS and services from US bound company?
It's just bullying on US part to suppress Chinese companies to overtake the top position. Also US government have been found many a time spying on their own citizens whereas there's still no hard proof against Huawei internationally.
At this point it's more like who you want to spy on Google/Facebook aka US or Chinese because even if you're in denial consumers are always targeted one way or another by their respective government or foreign governments.

Comments fanboying about x company are just silly. Companies don't care about you. Huawei, Apple, Samsung, xiaomi etc etc. They want your money and that's all really.
Just like you said, having fewer options on the table will make prices fly high.
Why is Trump doing this? Same reason. Money.
All of these (and all other) companies spy in one way or another.

And yeah, bing gets you less biased and most of the times non-biased results. Bing and duckduckgo are gold. I wouldn't trust google with my shopping list.

Huawei will now focus more on Chinese market share, considering China population and with Huawei superior products compared to other Chinese manufactures is only a matter of time before they grab over 50% Chinese market share which is big enough to keep them up and running until they build their ecosystem and finally deliver to the world third OS and that will mark the end to the U.S companies monopoly and when they happened other Chinese manufacturers will dump Andriod for Harmony OS.
