I see way too many kids glued to their tiny screens killing their eyes watching some crappy content videos for hours. First and foremost majority of YT videos are not that good anyway and second watch it on a TV or a computer monitor cause your eyes will thank you for it when you turn 25+

Sony's other products and businesses are doing very well.
It's not conspiracy, it's just simple demand and supply. 600k Xperia phones sold in Q3 2019 - a shocking record low. If it were some smaller business that's not doing well there would have been massive layoffs.

Dude, Xperia phones have always been cheaper than their Samsung and Apple counterparts, all whilst offering superior hardware as well!
When the time that Samsung is using cheap plastic and low grade materials, as well as Apple using easily crackable glass and poor signal-reception materials, Sony is already having extremely durable phones that could swim easily underwater for long periods of time.
And with all that, Sony phones still costed much less!
Same goes for the S10+ and Xperia 1. Samsung costed about $100 more for the same storage configuration as the Sony, except it doesn't have the beautiful 4K HDR OLED panel from Sony.

Well, I tell you what, I know far more mainstream contents made in 21:9 ratio than in 18:9 or 19:9 ratio.

No way it makes... moreI mean, perhaps not the 1's sensor, but the 5's must be less costly enough to make it to the mid range category (well, Pixel 3a already had that type of camera hardware anyway).
The technology has been out for 2 years now, and I assume the prices have gone down quite significantly already, as Quad Bayers are the next big thing in the industry today.
