Anonymous, 02 Aug 2020Keep repeating those same outdated talking points from year... moreOutdated takling points? LOL, android phones threads are 80-90% about issues with the devices, since you seem to have just landed from other planet, take a look:

https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_8_pro-reviews-9812.php

Look for threads for almost any popular android phone and you will find the same.

Threads for iPhones are almost about android haters, finding any conceivable baseless reasons to bash the phones or their users, look at the SE 2020 thread it's the same and despite all the trash talk the SE is a winner, it's laughable really, android haters can't get enough of losing, all their bashing instantly translates in record breaking sales...LOL.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2020Finally those with iPhone 5,6,7 got a chance to upgrade :))... moreOnly if those makers are allowed to use iOS and have iMessage and seamlessly connect with other Apple devices....don't underestimate how important those things are, especially in the US. I should know...I live here, and use iOS and Android. Android is still too finicky for the the average phone user, in my opinion, even though I prefer it in most ways.

I’ve used iPhones since 4S and 4 models later, I still think it’s an overpriced average product. There is no killer function n features that I can’t also find on Android phones, which are way cheaper.
My company gives me free iPhones so I’m forced to use it, but for my own money I’ll never ever buy an iPhone. Absolutely not worth my money.

So the iPhone SE deemed to be a flat failure by the android phanboiz ends up breaking records.

Bet you guys didn't see that one coming, never think this product is a joy to use to the average user and it's reliable, no, that shouldn't be it, it's success must be the result of well planned sinister marketing inducing mind control. LOOOL.

Go and ask every single person in the entire world if they would miss apple products if they were wiped off the face of the earth. Go ahead. Before you make judgments, you need the evidence.

Just by calling them as airdrop, AirPod air, HomePod, etc... doesn’t mean anything in the real world. Their Airport router project and Apple TV were one of the few disastrous ones. HomePod is not a long way from that, and so is Apple News. Apple TV is now competing with Amazon Prime than with Android TVs because Chromcaste is built into almost all modern TVs.

                      Besides, it's just 20% users.
No would miss Apple as it never brought anything innovative in the last decade as far as smartphones go.

Lags when I play game. Have hiss noise for everything you do, and their response is it's normal.. I bought airpods pro and there is not a single problem and miles better. Only thing I miss is iPhone. Samsung buds have extra feature only on their galaxy phones.. it's very fragmented.
I have macbook and I miss airdrop.. I don't think nearby share would come closer to airdrop anytime soon.. have to turn on location, bluetooth, wifi to get it work and it's not seemless..
Now I understand apple devices are for easy to use ppl and Android phones are for ppl who want to do the same thing the hard way.

Kirin SoC used to be the bottom of the line, with poor performance and severe throttling.

And, by the way, let all producers in USA to sell freely all phones and guaranteed Apple will lose 30% of market share

Ecosystem were just red herrings few years back now Android ecosystem gives you access for much wider audience than iOS. Developers making money in iOS is something not going to continue for long once the user base gets consolidated in Android and Apple mobiles being way too expensive, Apple tax for developers can make that ecosystem unsustainable for years to come except USA. I have to subscribe to all its expensive and mediocre services to keep the ecosystem alive, thanks no thanks 😊

I wonder how much of Samsung’s plummeting is a consequence of their Exynos 990 fiasco. It’s also worth noting that the new Galaxy AX1 series was launched in Q2, which is important, because it has the company’s best selling and most popular devices (A51, for example). But not even those managed to help, apparently.
