Samsung Galaxy S8, now 5.5 years old, receives a new firmware update

The update improves GPS stability. This was unexpected since the S8 series received its supposedly final update a year ago.

                      Yes, this happens with Samsung...they throw confusing little updates at old models once in a while.

                        Probably there is still a big amount of active S8 users - they made this security update. No wonder, it's still a good, small, handsome phone. My wife is using it.

                              Falgships and even mid-rangers old 5 - 6 years can run newest version of android, but "beautiful" economic growth/or rule's of free market ideology can't be stoped or world will "fall apart" .. mediocre, we want your soul because about money they don't need even ask you 😵‍💫
