This is not to be taken with a grain of salt because they will do this for sure. EU should force them to stop doing this unfair business to competitors, apple should change or should be force into bankruptcy. Not only that they do not bring nothing to tech world, they also limit it, or stop it's natural evolution so they can make money. Every brand needs money to survive, but this greedy bas...s are using others innovations for their own gain. That's pretty much what chinese brands do, but with an even bigger impact on innovation and fairness.

Apple on the other hand is the ONLY AMERICAN brand (besides uncompetitive Pixels from google) so they take advantage of this.

Even dirt cheap fake chargers work with lightning. Will work with type c as well.

What apple does has nothing to do with security but everything to do with making money even from products they do not owe, by selling licenses to manufacures that want their product to work on icrapp. They did this with the 3.5mm jack too, killing the ability to use proper products that are not owned by apple or do not have apple license. The phone was ider sending sound at a very low volume to this headsets or would just block sound. Apple is proud of beeing greedy, people are tragicaly still supporting apple unashamed dispectfull business model.

But this is nothing new even for current Android devices, I have 3 different brands all type c but can't get the super charging unless I'm using each one's original cable.

I have an idea for other OEMs. They can make their accessories "anti-apple". Which means, they will NOT work if used with an iphone!
But they won't do it for some reason, even though apple does it to them!

If this is true, the amount of Greed this company has is astonishing. They won't implement some features or work on killing years-old issues, but they will dedicate ways to do this. 🥲

I love to read new update rumors about usb c being on iPhone 15 models. Apple needs to just make this happen this year not next year tired of waiting 😴 for usb c to arrive on the iPhone from 2017 and still no usb c. It's just the same old rumors at this point that make good reading material.🤡🤬🙊
