Waterproofing: Newest tests show that the iP6s is waterproof for most usage. We now know that lawyers will destroy any company (Sony) that mentions waterproofing if it isn't absolutely perfect, so there will be no claims in this area for a long time.
Wireless charging: worthless. People like to use their phone while it is charging. This can't happen while you are using the current crude implementation of wireless charging (that has existed for 100 years, this isn't new tech folks). Wireless charging will be a thing when the phone can be held in any orientation.
Also huge: ADBLOCK. How was this not mentioned? The deep levels of content blocking that Safari now allows is not possible on the android google play store (because it's google's revenue stream). We now know that implementing this saves 3x battery and data and makes pages load 10x faster. This is a huge deal that should have been mentioned as the killer feature in iOS 9 that android will never get.
Also fake: the contrast ratio of amoled is not infinite, because it is a function of external lighting and internal reflections at interfaces (glass/adhesive interfaces for example). This is why people can't tell the difference in contrast between lcd and amoled devices in a lit environment. You should do your due diligence in calculating correct contrast ratios in lit and unlit environments. (in unlit environments, the value will be a function of internal screen reflections).
Apple won't move to amoled until the tech is shown to last for 4-5 years. Apple has by far the longest device support over many years, whereas google give up after a year or so on updates leaving the old android devices to rot in a toxic security nightmare.

Apple is ridiculous.
***Where is wireless charging??? It's the most earth shattering invention since smartphones came into existence! You just forget about ANY battery problems. You don't have to deal with that fucking usb cable, always plugging it in and out...
You just put the phone down on the commode before going to sleep (as you would anyway), and THAT'S IT! In the morning, you grab it, and THAT'S IT! The absence of this feature is an instant dealbreaker.
***Where is microsd card??? I have a quality 64GB card, and DOESN'T HAVE TO PAY 5 TIMES MORE, for the storage capacity, AND IT'S REMOVABLE!!
***Where is the removable battery??? Sometimes it's life saving. When you want to take 200 photos, and an hour of video, with some browsing, you NEED 2 batteries. Typically you aren't around electricity in such cases.
***Let's not even start it about customizability. I tweaked my phone to the last bit. It does everything I want, as I want, and looks exactly as I want it.
***S4 has a bigger screen.
***S4 has a better endurance rating.
Thanks to the tweaking, it's blazing fast. It makes beautiful pictures and nice videos. Whith NFC, I can pay whith my phone. The touch of the "cheap plastic" back is AMAZING. I love it!
One actual drawback in the design is that the chrome painting on the upper bezel rubs off and it's ugly (I don't know what did Samsung think, they were out of their mind with this solution), but I don't give a shit about it.
I always buy my flagships second-hand, after their release, next year, for about 250 euros.
So i have this amazing phone for one and a half years, and Apple HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO BEAT IT SINCE THEN??? It released iphone 4s, 5, 5s, 6, 6s and non of them can kiss the S4's ass! And they want customers to buy their phone AT RELEASE, AND PAY 1000 euros for thier drop-behind phone? These people are CRAZY :D!
It's just unbelievable.
I'll use this technical wonder for about two more years. My next candidte is S7 (or if S8 will be a phenomenal miracle, maybe that one / or another high-concept droid).

Its crazy how people are willing to fight like in a war just for phones. Just imagine, how everything would change when the phones evolve to AI.

My Edge dropped calls, had random lag at times and was terrible to hold without a case. The Edge design is gimmicky and ultimately tacky.

I guess the biggest thing here is very power efficient A9 chip

Right, so they finally made an iphone that scores really good in some benchmarks! Now that being said, it's just too boring - that OS is way to dumbed down for sensible people! Unless you are a teenage girl or over 60, why would you buy something like this?? You can't do anything! For $700 i expect a little more than just phoning, browsing, decent camera and poor battery...
