Or, one of those newest Samsung phones from low end M 10, 20? :]
Anyway i bot saying that Samsung PLS screen is aweaome (because, is not) that medal goes to Super Amoled, especially on this S9 (last year flagship).
Im saying that M20 have better screen, better colors, more satured, than screen from some Redmi models frim past year.
On the other hand, M series (M10, M20) is plastic-fantastic phones, and have 17-th month Android version out of box..

But even better screens from Samsung is Super Amoled, and that screen tehnology will be in M30.
About Oppo, dont know, here it does not exist (maybr just Nex series).
I hope that Xiaomi will start to use better screens, with better colors, without screen bleeding. If they do that and increase price by 20%, it will be fair.

I don't really know,How does its display looks like.Probablygood enough in this budget segment!
But there's big problem with xiaomi.Now-a-days they can't maintain colour accuracy with its display to deliver standard colour.
Recent Redmi lineup phone such note 5 ai and note 6 pro both phones display output dull green colour which isn't so expected but surprisingly they can deliver vivid red colour which looks pretty cool!

S9, 06 Feb 2019Forget NFC in Redmi series, more important for Xiaomi to st... moreIt certainly would be nice if they put in better screens. I think it's unlikely because Honor and vivo also use these cheap Tianma panels in their low-end phones, and Samsung uses even worse TFT panels.
Some minor brands use better screens, such as Sharp Aquos S2 (Sharp's own LCD) and Lenovo Z5 (AU Optronics), so it's possible, but they probably have to cut out extras such as Gorilla Glass protection.

I was using Redmi Note 4x, Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5 AI, the best screen was on Note 4x (not briliant but best of those). The wors was on this most popular phone here, Note 5 AI (India Pro), wach out with dull color even for cbeap IPS. Thats why those phones seems that have great price, because of screen. Look at Mi 8 SE, also midrange phone, 7-8 months old, and still, its pricier (in China) than Note 7, Mi 8 Lite, Mi A2 etc.. Because of better screen (Super Amoled made by Samsung).
If they start using better screens they can increase price, not for 2$, but for 20$ or something like that :}
