        Anonymous, 23 Apr 2020Yeah and dont forget 4-5 years of software updates from App... moreThe 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things iPhone can't.

        The upcoming iOS 14 will finally get an app drawer and fully functional widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.

        Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.

          This has to be the worst flagship killer for 2020. Barely an upgrade from the excellent X2 Pro. Except for a big upgrade in price.
          And oh yeah ! Dont buy any Realme device before Realme delivers the promised Android 10 update for X2 Pro.. its looooong overdue

                      Why do we still have notch and puncholes.. This is ridiculous. The aspect ratio is getting taller and phones are looking like elongated remotes. First it was 18:9 then it became 19:9, then 20:9 then 21:9 and more akward aspect ratios. Why can't manufacturers stick to a defined aspect ratio, so that content compatibility is universal. 16:9 is still much better as you don't see laptops and TVs with the aspect ratios of the smartphones these days and content is another reason, upscaling 16:9 content is not a feasible idea because first it's impossible and secondly due to 16:9 content being in abundance that upscaling them to the newer ratios look distorted or stretched. I mean 16:9 screens can be bezeless too, it's no big task but with 16:9 screens being bezeless with no curved corners, you can add front facing powerful speakers. All these useless screen aspect ratios and curved corners has to go. We the consumers have no official representative and that's why the manufacturers are shoving whatever gimmicks they produce down our throats and we are supposed to be satisfied. Phones post 2017 are full of gimmicks and weird aspect ratios.

                        GSMarena you describe the cameras of the phone as very good.
                        But when i am looking at the low light studio setup both the Realme 6Pro and its predecessor have way clearer photos.
                        Something is off....

                          I read that even you toggle off the (Ads)recommendation in the apps you even get the annoying ads.Its that right?

                            Shadocx, 18 Apr 2020Well, the K30 Pro Zoom doesn't suit me, it still has a 60 H... more90 Hz display is meh - go 120+ or don't go at all.

                            If it can be charged to 100% in 65 min - I don't care if somebody is faster.

                            Advantages over what, X50 Pro? Well (no excepting):

                            - no hole-punch; [no cutouts > any other option > hole-punch]
                            - two OIS in rear cameras (no AF in ultra-wide, though);
                            - 8 GB RAM in base model;
                            - bigger battery (though K30PZ is not tested in Global Version which isn't there yet);
                            - MIUI is more familiar than new Realme UI (although it looks quite promising);
                            - little ones, if GSMArena's DB is accurate on it: newer UFS storage, better camera flash, aptX Adaptive, IRDA, barometer;

                            Of course, it's not ideal; OP8P could be good enough if it only had flat screen; K30PZ - if it had Global Version (like Mi 9T Pro for K20P) and 1440p screen (maybe 120 Hz too, but then it better be having 5500 mAh battery and better cooling), fast USB is also always welcomed.

                            Although, iPhone SE 2nd gen makes me thinking whether this all matters or not... =)

                              Nicolas F, 18 Apr 2020Btw, 2020 isn't over yet, so there could be more smartphone... moreWell, the K30 Pro Zoom doesn't suit me, it still has a 60 Hz display, it's too big, I don't mind the punch hole, if we can hide it to make the display less wide it's even better, then no stereo speakers and slower charging on the K30 Pro Zoom.
                              What's the advantages of the K30 Pro Zoom except the cameras? I never use IR blaster and headphone jack.
                              See, we don't all use our phones the same way...

                                Shadocx, 18 Apr 2020Okay, not all of them have a Snapdragon 865 like this Realm... moreBtw, 2020 isn't over yet, so there could be more smartphones with OIS to come.

                                K30 Pro Zoom (not just Pro) hasn't got Global Version yet.

                                If a smartphone's price is 600 euros and it hasn't OIS - it's garbage, regardless of other specs.

                                > "a lot of mid range in your list"

                                Who cares? They are still smartphones; though, most of them (the whole list) are bad. X50 Pro is bad too because of that hole-punch selfie cameras and lack of OIS. And pixel density could be bigger, it's not with SD835, after all.

                                  Anonymous, 17 Apr 2020If you have T-Mobile, the 5G mid band will work. And that i... moreAh really? Which T-Mobile 5G band are you referring to? I'm only familiar with their low frequency band, I'm guessing they have another one now. I use Google Fi which ultimately uses T-Mobile anyway. I guess that would be another thing I'd have to find out, if Google Fi would use the 5G from T-Mobile's towers

                                    Nicolas F, 18 Apr 2020https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2020&nPr... moreOkay, not all of them have a Snapdragon 865 like this Realme, then the Oppo Find X2 and S20 cost more than 900€ I think, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Pro more than 800 and 1000 respectively, the OnePlus 8 more than 700.
                                    Galaxy S20 Ultra, Oppo Find X2 Pro and Xperia 1 II more than 1200.
                                    The Realme X50 Pro is like 600.
                                    What's the European price of the Redmi K30 Pro?
                                    I should have said, which phone with SD 865 have OIS, because I see a lot of mid range in your list.
