WOW - I think the fingerprint reader is a really BIG feature. Not sure why GSMArena sort of talked about it as if it wasn't that special. Having to type passwords to unlock phones is a real pain in the a$$ - so much so that I turn such security features of my phone completely off (not good) A fingerprint reader should be a standard feature on all phones today.

"I had this phone twice". Yes, the one liner is true. I lost the 1st one while playing tennis in a Houston's Westheimer Splashpad. I loved the first that phone very much that it took me only a week to buy a replacment Atrix under my AT&T contract. It kinda hurt coz I paid the whole phone price for the 2nd unit. Yet, it's worth all the pains. The technology in there is amazing. Moto and Android is indeed a good partnership. I love the talking-navigation, it's super!!! I drive like crazy that I always miss my exit. Whenever I missed an exit, the reroute is real-time fast and I don't have to worry missing another one again. You don't have to buy a separate navigator if you have this phone. The excellent navigation is just one of the super features this phone has. Maybe, the speed owes it to the dual-core heart.

Or maybe it is technical solution and depends on batteries type. According to the last news, SAMSUNG Galaxy S II will be using standard Li-Ion batteries. Theoretically thise batteries have cylindrical cells and that mean they are dependent on the shape (Li-Po batteries are more flexible). Since SAMSUNG Galaxy S II is very thin phone, maybe they decide not put bigger (in size) batteries. I know batteries capacity depends not only on size, but on chemicals also. Anyway it is only theory and it may be totally wrong. :)

if moto can put a 1900MAh battery on that very compact 4incher, wonder why samsung/lg/htc was not able to put it on thier flagship phones...great OS experience must be match by a proper battery so you can use the phone more rather than looking for a place to charge your phone...

This is a great review im surprised at the Camera performance though, other websites were reporting that this phone had a top notch camera. The video recording is true as well it is pretty solid you can also see other samples on youtube

I was looking forward to this review. I really liked this phone for the hardware it offers in a compact size while other manufacturers offer dual core processors in much larger "phones". I was very disappointed with motorola when I read about the screen problem mentioned in the review combined with the feedback from the atrix buyers saying that a lot of defective units are out there in addition to a crappy customer support. Now I only wish samsung would do a mini version of the galaxy s2 with the same hardware (minus the screen size of course).

The Atrix don't even offer a proper experience for a dual-core phone, the UI is very laggy because of the crappy Motoblur.

I don`t think you could point me to a more professional review of this phone anywhere on the internet. To bad this phone has Froyo, but after all this was the compromise they made in order to be the first dual core phone on the market.
By looking at the last page of the review, all i can say is that it`s great that all the big manufacturers have a top of the line dual core android on the market, we , the consumers ,have a lot of very good choices if we want an android phone.
Can`t wait for the Samsung Galaxy S II review.
