Apple's mobile payment and digital wallet service supporting the contactless payment standard.

Announced at Apple's iPhone 6 event on September 9, 2014.

Users can make contactless payments with their iPhone or Apple Watch, within apps including iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro and on the web.

Initially launched in the US, Apple Pay is still rolling globally as and when it's supported by banks.

Apple Pay Cash was announced at WWDC 2017. It lets you send money to other iOS users via Messages. Sent money is taken from the Apple Pay card(s) already in use. When cash is received, it is added to a new virtual payment card found in the Wallet.
